SMEP = Sperm meets egg plan. I think it is optimum timing to conceive, although it more boy friendly as it involves more attempts but if you are on your 6th cycle of clomid you would just want to get pregnant and the fact that you are on your 6th cycle of clomid would be a strong pink sway.
Low estrogen is probably from your PCOS so the clomid should help.

I thought PCOS typically caused high E2?
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Hi DJ, thanks for asking. I'm not too well (usual) but getting a bit better than before. Yes currently TTC again, I'm 11dpo just waiting for AF, trying Clomid next cycle. Unfortunately I had bad timing this cycle.
Am I wrong in thinking I saw you got your BFP finally? How are you doing?

Feeling bummed but moving on with positive vibes for next month. I finally had a good cd21 number of 20 last month but between Christmas, family visiting and a DH that did not feel well, our attempts were not well timed. AF showed up this am so I am on to month 4 of 100mg Clomid.
I was planning on E3D but worry that I should do every other day as not comfortable being on clomid so long...thoughts?3/2010 at 10 weeks (blighted ovum)

Ok. I'm seriously not intending to quibble at all, I'm just going to mention why I do it that way.
I like people to have the option of doing each tactic for a month or two as per their choice. I think going from 1 attempt at pos to doing boy-friendly frequency to get pregnant by the 4th month is not enough time since many times people need a month just to figure it out or something might go wrong, like hubby has a late night at work or something. I feel good about this schedule, I've used it for years and only a couple of people have failed to get pregnant on the Clomid this way. Plus, it leave you guys with the option of moving up the schedule at any point in time, you can just decide to scoot along to the next option after only a month or even sooner.
Personally I do not like every 3 days with Clomid, unless you're doing it with one attempt at positive, because I do not think it always ups odds of conception by very much. I feel every 4 days plus one is better because most people end up with 2 good attempts in fertile window that way. Every 3 days is fine to play with when you have more than 6 months on the Clomid but on Clomid we only have the 6 months max to goof around with and thus I like to preserve those months for my fave methods that seem to work best for people. Every 3 days plus one attempt is good for odds of conception but can sometimes end up being 3 attempts in fertile window.
I don't want anyone DTD every other day. If you're ready to pull the trigger on getting pregnant, then do SMEP. Every other day just raises odds of blue without really increasing odds of conception that much. It's like the worst of both worlds in a lot of ways. You can easily end up with atempt on O-2 and O day, which is not any better than e4d or e3d plus one. SMEP is here Sperm Meets Egg Plan!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
