I don't know much except what I read about clomid egg development, which also touched on the trigger a bit. It said that after a trigger the follicle can grow up to 2-3 mm a day. Ideal follicle size @ O is 18+ mm. So, I think you said you started at 8 mm an if so it could take 3-5 days to reach that size. All this considered your follies may just need a bit more time to grow to the best size. Just keep BD'ing (though you might want to do a 1 day break if you have been BD'ing once or more daily for many days... just to give DH time to rebuild those spermies up
). O will come
you catch the egg!!

It's still super early, two! Plus, it takes time for the hcg to build up in your system.
Three of my follicles were only 8mm, 1 was 9mm, 1 was 14mm, and the last one was 19mm. I am thinking that only the 19mm and maybe the 14mm released. I don't think the other ones would have gotten to the right size soon enough.
I just got off the phone with a nurse from my RE's office. She said that after the trigger you won't see a temp rise until 3-4 days after the trigger. She said that apparently the rise happens a day or two after you actually ovulate because it takes time for the progesterone to build up enough to increase your temperature. Also, she said I can't take a hpt until 17 days from yesterday. :/ I can definitely say that I'm no where near as bloated or crampy today as I was yesterday. I actually feel sore/tender in my ovaries today (both sides). So, maybe I did ovulate last night and I'll get the temp rise tomorrow.2001,

It's hardly been any time and I definitely wouldn't compare tests taken at different time of day , two. I think you will see more progression tonight. Are you using the new curved handle FRERs?
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Momamia, I have heard that argument many times and it is definitely possible, it does happen on occasion, but the majority of the time when there is no timely temp rise it's bc O hasn't happened (as they discover when they go in for a scan). Most of the time temping works fine, is still accurate, after a trigger. Not trying to be discouraging just want to prevent unnecessary disappointment and false assumptions.

17 DAYS???? HOLY CRAPOLA!!! I'd never make it lol! My ovaries were really sore/irritated for a few days after my O. So, sounds like a good sign of a nice strong O!!
The reason I am worried is not that that they are the same (basically)... at least not alone. I worry because last night's FRER was taken with ZERO hold, guzzling fluids (I am sooooooo thirsty for some reason the last couple days). This AM's was a 6+ hour hold with NO fluids... so I thought there would be a difference. I knew it'd still be faint but I guess I expected a noticable difference but they look identical in person :/ I know it takes time for levels to build, I just thought I'd see a difference between severely diluted urine and concentrated urine... kwim??Last edited by twointow83; January 29th, 2016 at 03:08 PM.
