Ok well try and break it down for what it is. You will very likely o tomorrow so if you left it you'd have a 3-o and day of o attempts. Not THE greatest BUT people have and do get bfps with this sequence. Hopefully there are still some live swimmers there OR hopefully you catch the egg after its released. Otherwise if you bd tonight you have a 3-o and 1-o. If you think there's little chance of swimmers being around from previous attempt what difference does it make if you bd tonight as opposed to tomorrow morning? We all know that more than one attempt is considered blue friendly but I think sometimes to you've got to look at the larger picture. If the decision is giving you this much stress why not stick to e3d this cycle ask Atomics advise for if you find yourself in this situation next cycle (which fx you wont need to!). Ask yourself if its more important to see a bfp at this point or if you have another swaying cycle left in you. Hope you find some peace with your decision.

Again you've been swaying so long its become a lifestyle for you. There are one attempts that end up with blue and multiple attempts that end up in pink. There is no guarantee, we can only try and influence the outcome. Personally I think the diet and exercise trumps number of attempts especially after a year but again thats my opinion. You need to work out what you have the most faith in. I would create the thread asking the question anyway because even if atomic doesn't answer in time you will get a broader range of opinions from other swayers

Im am on clomid too Lauren tho im on my 3rd month. I have been "trying" for ages with cut off ect but on clomid i have had a o-3 attempt and a month of dtd every day for 7 days over ovulation this month Atomic and i are going with aiming for 2 attempts . I must add that i have 2 boys. 1 conceived with multiple attempts and one conceived with only 1 attempt so im not totally sold on the 1 attempt idea! I think diet plus exercise plus clomid is a awesome sway and the point is to get pregnant and not drag it out on clomid. But thats only my opinion you do what you are comfortable with

Lauren, the reason I very much think you should wait until tomorrow (at the very earliest), if not 36 hours/I.e. E4D, is bc this is your FIRST cycle on Clomid. Maybe you haven't been Oing, or have been Oing a lot later (with a shorter LP) and maybe your year of TTC hasn't actually been well timed. Maybe you have egg quality issues. If any of those apply, then this cycle is effectively your first real cycle trying.

Even if you had a year of perfectly timed attempts and O confirmed to the day, I would STILL think one attempt or E4D would be best the first cycle on Clomid.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Just bought different OPKs to test when I get home. I think we may wait until tomorrow. Thank you for all the feedback. I really do appreciate having people to bounce ideas back and forth with.

First cycle on Clomid. I have to say, the only side effects I have felt have been achy pains around my ovaries the week.

Plus tons of ladies conceive from BD 4 or more days before O, including on Clomid. Especially if you have days of EWCM, sperm can survive for at least 6 days. If you've had that much fertile CM, I highly, highly doubt you are acidic.

Thanks maiden... The day we bd a few days ago I had lots of EWCM so I'm really hoping they are in there holding on for that egg. I think I will hold off on another attempt... As much as I want to be pregnant, I really want to give myself a new round of chances with this Clomid, even if I end up having to skip a month due to due date timing.

I would personally not waste a cycle after a month on Clomid as the drug lasts so long that the following cycle is effectively a Clomid cycle, too. I am purposefully alternating one cycle on, on Clomid and one cycle off for this reason. Just something to consider! You could always just do one attempt, aimed at the day before you expect to O, so you give it a chance. I understand about time of year though...I want to skip TTC in April-May bc Jan-Feb is a very bad time of year for me psychologically.

Please let us know how the new OPKs compare! Btw, you can store urine at room temp or in the fridge for days and it will still give accurate OPKs. I do that if I run out and want to be able to test retroactively.
