I plan on starting the LE Diet in mid July-early August and will start TTC in late October-early November. I've recently gained around 10lbs and I want to get it under control. My question is: Is it ok for me to start any diet of my choice or should I start a lite version of the LE Diet or should I just wait altogether and start the full LE Diet in July?

I would drop a thing each month so it comes easier for you. I personally stopped meat in June and started my diet in August(after holidays, so I can enjoy them)..At beginning I didnt knew what I am suppose to eat, it was difficult, but learned with each meal each day...so my personal advice would be to take them by steps so you can learn well and by the time you TTC you will have a few strong weeks in the back....

I also began by going vegetarian and getting used to skipping breakfast. Did this for about a month and lost a bit of weight in the process. Then I began tracking totals and slowly cutting down on fat and protein, and including things like meringues as a pudding instead of more fatty stuff. Good luck!

Yes it's fine to lose weight now and hold off to do LE until later. No worries, we have plenty of time.

Some people (LIKE ME
) find it hard to lose weight when vegetarian. It's so unfair, I think if u eat lentils you should be able to lose weight just out of the sake of justice.
