According to the app I have on my phone for tracking ovulation, I should be ovulating tomorrow. I've been tracking for about a year now and it's always been right on or 1 day off. I have a pretty consistent 33 day cycle. I've been on the LE diet (a few cheats here and there but overall pretty good I must say) for around a month. Anyway, I usually have a LOT of ewcm in the 2-3 days leading up the ovulation. This week I had a glob of creamy, thick cm on Monday but pretty dry ever since.
Can I assume that the diet is doing its job? Or does that fall under the ph thing and therefore, not relevant? We aren't TTC yet but it got me kind of excited to see such a big change in my cm when it's always been the same, month after month. Especially b/c I've only been doing the diet, and I've added in lots of coffee and white wine every night.

Yes, it is a generally good sign of the diet & overall sway having the desired effect. We don't know exactly what that effect is, just that it definitely seems to sway pink. Great news! I think the switch to creamy CM from previously copious EWCM means your body 'got the memo' that it's best to conceive a girl now and thus reflects your body's and, IMO, eggs' changed state.
Keep in mind this may be the month O happens later than you expect. Especially if your cycle has been very regular up to now.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I love FF, see chart in my signature.
honeybee, I've had a few fluke months of extra EWCM while swaying, it does happen. I think we would have had EVEN MORE EWCM those cycles had we not been swaying.

Ohh that's good to know! I was wondering if I might O later this month. We aren't planning an attempt this month as hubby doesn't want to just yet but I'm tempted seeing this change!
I'm using an app called "My Calendar". Funnily enough, it was this app that falsely predicted my O date in 2012 which resulted in surprise baby #3 when we were TTA. But at that time I really didn't pay attention to CM so I fully relied on the app only to tell me when my fertile period was. And my cycles were irregular.
Another question, should I find another way to track ovulation since, I'm guessing, my cycle may go a bit wacky for the next few months? I was thinking about picking up some cheapie OPKs. Or is temping a better idea?Mama to four sweet boys

Temping makes it easier to pinpoint exact day of ovulation but doesn't help beforehand - you only know you've ovulated from the temp spike the next day, by which point you're too late to BD! OPKs predict that you'll ovulate in the next 24-36 hours so you can BD in time. Personally, both stress me out and I just go by CM which isn't always ideal (as in last month when I relied on having 3 days of EWCM and so we had our attempt on day 2.... I then went on to have an extra 3 or so days of EWCM so we missed the egg completely!) If I have irregular cycles again I will use OPKs again. I have used them in the past but I have a short LH surge which means I usually miss it, unless I am POAS 6x a day - and this makes me neurotic about it! I used to temp but I haven't done for a while (again - I got obsessed, and also it's not that helpful in advance). I would say do what works best for you. Can't hurt to try OPKs for a month?

I recommend temping, checking CM, CP and using OPKs personally.
