Had a scan on Monday cd10, and I thought and got the impressions from the fertility clinic that clomid had not not worked, I had a folical at 12mm and a really thin womb lining still.
I went back today cd14 and is was good and bad news I don't know what to make of it...
My womb lining was looking better they was able to see those 3 lines in my womb that looked good for egg implantation, they showed me the lines, I could see them, but I didn't have a clue what they were talking about with the 3 lines never heard of it before.
Then they checked for that 12mm folical and not was nothing developing the folical had vanished, but I have not ovulated. They want to scan me again on Monday to double check then follow up with the doctor on Friday, which they said they will they prob give me metofomin and clomid next there.
I don't understand what has happened...
I'm eating heathy, exercising, been losing weight slowly since last year, thought I was doing everything right to increase my chances, my body just doesn't want to play ball!
I just want to cry and cry and cry!

Oh no... I don't know anything about clomid, but sounds very frustrating. I'm sorry.

Top it off, my friend took me to our local garden centre coffee shop after the scan, which has a children's soft play area in it too, I saw 2 brand new baby girls there. I couldn't help feeling tearful and jealous!

I woudl not be surprised if they find it again on Monday, and if they don't, I wonder if it was ever there to start with (which doesn't SEEM like good news but it actualy is because at least you didn't ahve an egg that wasn't developing.) Ultrasounds are not as easy to read as they make them out to be.
Please don't be upset, this is just a little bump in the road and they'll get it figured out for you.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I agree with atomic. I've done a ton of monitored cycles and scans are really not cut and dry. Also if you're at all fluffy it can make them harder to read and I've seen many cases in which overweight women were mis-scanned. I would guess you still have that dominant follicle and it is developing still, though you may O later than expected. Especially if you are on only 50mg of Clomid. Many PCOS ladies O late on 50mg.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

This cycle I was on 100mg clomid.
I understand that the can get it wrong especially over weight women, but I'm barely over weight!
Still holding out hope that i still have a follicle there somewhere! Hopefully it will be found on Monday, the good thing is I'm not getting charged for the scan on Monday!

Are you having attempts all along, every 3 or 4 days??? Don't stop because they may not have this at all right.

On 100mg I really think it is unlikely that dominant follicle disappeared. Fx for you.
