MFC the wonky cycles make timing so hard!!! Mine weren't super crazy, but my O did move around between 13 and 14 regularly, and the cycle I attempted OF COURSE ended up being 13 when I planned my timing around it being 14. So I ended up with an 0-1 and an 0. With 3 days of OPK's though that helps! I read somewhere that usually means you O the day of the last OPK, so I would say DTD the 1st day you get an OPK, and the day of your last one.

Hey Ladies catching up a bit.
I just noticed I was so excited I said It's boy instead of it's A boy lol Here's the story and few things I left out over the last few days. I had completely convinced myself I'd hear girl, I had no hope I'd ever hear boy so I was anxious all morning knowing as soon as I went to the u/s even the slightest hope was gone and I'd be left with the reality of 4 girls and I was pretty ok with that actually. Well we went to the midwife appt where my mw kept referring to the baby as he. From there we went over to the mall for some lunch and a trip to Build-A-Bear before my mom took the kids. Well right when my mom was rounding up the girls to take dd1 to choir dd1 had a change of heart and said she wanted to come. Well since my mom was there we all headed back over to the hospital where we got a tiny room, we wedged ourselves in and waited for the show to begin. The u/s tech asked right off if we wanted to know and we said yes. She started to measure and then tried to get a peek, no luck. Measure, try to get a peek, measure, try to get a peek, measure try to get a peek. It went on for a while, I thought I would have a heart attack. Finally the little goober gave her a good view, she looked at me and I said "it's a boy?!" and she said yes. I started to cry for a second, the only thing I could say was "I didn't get fat for no reason" my mom busted up laughing. I looked at the screen and she was measuring again, I whipped out my phone and sent a quick text, an e-mail to princessap and posted here. Yes that's right I posted while still on the tableI asked her about the size of the baby since I'd measured a bit big, she showed me the estimations and he's dead on to my O date. Dr came in and by now he was all for showing himself off, every time they tried to look at the legs boom penis, show us feet boom penis. He was determined to let us know he was most definitely a HE. On the other hand he (man I love saying that
) was not willing to give us a decent profile, the dr and the tech tried repeatedly and we got the one face shot I posted but not a full body shot. We went to Kohl's and we bought a few outfits based on fact not hope, I can't tell you how amazing it was to buy things for our actual son! The girls were now running around looking at everything blue and cute, they have luckily warmed up super fast. Jon flew in from Texas that morning so it was now 4ish and he'd been up since 2, after only a few hours sleep he was as happy as he could muster. Everyone is going over to my in-laws today so we can tell them all at once without having to assemble them ourselves. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces in that evil way lol
B- I totally get your feelings on finding out. I had gd something awful after dd3, I really think swaying gives you an "at least I tried" feeling. I honestly don't think men analyze like we do, they just don't sit there wondering if everything means something. So excited you're finding out MONDAY!!! Ah my chance to stalk you!!
TTC5- I gave up temping, way to frustrating. Boo for YI, nasty little bastards!
Flava - actually he's looking down, which explains the abuse to my hipbones and cervix lol
Iluv - I'm no good at guesses but that is a great looking baby ya got there! So glad it's doing well!Last edited by 3Pink1Blue; September 24th, 2011 at 12:10 PM.
