I've already googled "hcg number indicative of gender" and I need to stop. I'm such a control freak... I guess I didn't realize how out of my control this whole thing really is. Lol. I'm so scared of gender disappointment. I don't want to feel that way.

What is done is done, u have done what u can. If it doesn't happen then it just wasn't meant to be. I have basically accepted that this is a boy. That way if this baby IS a boy the tests will confirm what I already believe to be true. If this baby is a girl then I will get a wonderful surprise. I figure it's better to make peace with it now than to be disappointed later.

Are you stopping at 2? For me this is my definite last shot. There is no way we are having 5 kids! Haha.

I'm sure you've heard it before but raising brothers is truly great. I love it so much. Just would be nice to have just one daughter :-(

If we have a girl this would most likely be our last. If we get a boy we might try once more but then I feel like I would be so stressed trying to sway. I don't know.
I haven't even picked a midwife yet so I'm not sure if I will see by blood test or not. Most likely no.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I know you know you will love him and are happy he's healthy. It's definitely okay to feel what you do and normal. I was very depressed with my second dd and still feel sad about not getting a boy. I hope your men take good care of you and let you have some me time.

Big hugs 2xblue. I can only imagine how you feel but I know it takes time to mourn the loss of the daughter you'll never have. That's a lot to process. Take your time and let yourself be sad a bit. Once you can grieve you can fully appreciate and enjoy your sweet new boy.
