Sorry Momamia. This TTC business really sucks sometimes. Will you do another round of Clomid if you get a BFN this month?
I have thoughts of throwing in the towel sometimes. But then I see people posting pics of their babies on the cloth diaper boards I follow on facebook and think I want that again. I had no experience with babies before having our DD 2 years ago so a lot of it was learn as you go. So now I would like the opportunity to go through it again and really savor it. Hopefully we all get our babies soon.![]()

I wonder if doc will give me clomid, guessing not since I have no issue getting pregnant. Just hoping polyp maybe will come out with miscarriage, if not then remove it. Right now I could of been happy
Hopefully soon we all will be happy and pregnant.
I was thinking to add in excerise again since its been nice outside, just to take my mind off everything going for a walk everyday.
I been taking prenatals since Saturday and not sure if I should just continue to do so or not. Been on LE diet for 14 weeks!DS *11/07*
DD *03/09*
DS *01/14*
DD *11/16*
Praying for one more Daughter
I am so thankful and blessed!

tfahn, I think the you should really try Femara then. Clomid isn't great for women over 37.I think you also need a higher dose, maybe would have done better on 100mg Clomid.
Momamia, I'm sorry about the spotting and cramping, combined with temp drop. Have you spotted/cramped when pregnant before, not including chemicals?
Princess, I'd definitely stop the prenatals as they seem to sway blue quite strongly.Last edited by maidentomother; March 10th, 2016 at 11:38 AM.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

I'm hoping the doctor atleast ups the dosage of Clomid this month if/when I start a new cycle since clearly it did not help my progesterone levels like it should.
I don't think the RE has brought up the usage of Femera before. I know it doesn't effect the lining and CM like Clomid but does it fix progesterone issues as well? It is is off market usage for fertility, not sure how I feel about that. Why do you think it is better then Clomid?

The only reason Femara is off-label is bc it's fairly new and there hasn't been a push yet to get it marketed for fertility use. It is superior to Clomid in every nearly every way (except for the low incidence of multiples, which for some is a pro of Clomid). It is safer both for mother and bsby, has fewer side effects, mimics natural hormonal effects better (Clomid lasts much too long, very unlike our sex hormones), has a lower incidence of OHSS, doesn't thin the lining or cause cysts, and is at least as good at stimulating high P production and overall, the development of a good quality egg. In older women, it may be more effective at raising P. Clomid is a great drug, but Femara is amazing!

I'm done ttc naturally after this cycle. I'll save to do HT and if that doesn't work, DH said he'd be open to adoption. I think it's incredible how much he wants to have another baby. It's one of the reasons I feel so horrible that I can't get pregnant.
Maiden, I have spotted in the past while pregnant. I just am not feeling pregnant at all.
I think I got the norovirus from my sister and it is making me feel horrible (severe nausea mainly). I've been trying not to throw up but I don't know how long I can keep that up. Just thinking about food makes me want to vomit. It's really bad. I took a vofran already as I have hyperemesis every time I get a stomach bug and wind up in the hospital with severe dehydration. I'm not looking forward to the next few days.

Oh I'm so sorry for your loss Princessmom.
I hope you get your sticky bean soon.
Momamia, I've got my fingers crossed this is the month you get your BFP but if not, then I wish you all the best for HT. Hopefully that will result a sticky pink bean for you. That's so sweet your DH is so determined to have another baby. Adoption is such a wonderful gift to a child! DH expressed to me recently how badly he wants to have a daughter and that if we have a third boy, he's willing to adopt for our fourth. It would take time to save up for that though if we went the private route. I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. The norovirus is horrible to get, my boys and I got it last year. I hope you feel better soon.

Oh momamia that sounds horrible! I hope you don't get as sick this time and can avoid the hospital!
Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.
DS1: Aug 2003 (my first home birthed water baby!)
DS2: May 2009 (my second home birthed water baby!)
Oct 2014
July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.

My DH wants another baby just as much as I do. After O, every couple of days he will ask "Are you pregnant yet?", he says it jokingly but I know he is really anxious for another as well. It does make it harder every month when its a BFN when you can tell they are disappointed too.
