Violet I feel like when it comes to this you really have to know your body and pay attention to your body. Everyone is different. I have uterine irritability and I have frequent, sometimes painful contractions through my pregnancies starting around 20 weeks. Since I've been through this a couple of times I know my normal. They even told me I was in labor when I went in for my induction with ds 1 because of the contractions they were picking up on the monitor but I new better and told them "no, I've been having this for months" and they still had to start me on pitocin. If it feels outside your norm I would definitely ask your doctor about it. I was constantly asking about it with ds 1 and even though it ended up being fine I definitely don't regret asking all kinds of questions. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water too.

I had quite intense BH with my first son, to the point where I went in for observation and they wanted me to stay over night because they thought I was in labour, but like luvmyfam, I informed them that I had been having these tightenings for at least a month lol trust your body and dont hesitate to goto Dr/hospital if you are worried. Hope everyone is well, I had DS2 down for a whole week with vomiting bug and really high fevers... since wednesday he had a fever that never slowed down once, it was peaking at 39.6 and I was quite worried for him. Thankfully yesterday he woke up without fever and is on the mend.
I have my 19 week scan this wednesday which I am excited/nervous aboutcant wait to see our girl again xx

Sounds a bit awful Taytum, I hadn't heard of it before but sounds more common than I thought? hope the creams can relieve it a bit for you x
Violet with all of my pregnancies I have had braxton hicks from quite early on, I take it as a good sign as I have had quite quick deliveries - haven't delivered super early only 1-2 wks. But I definitely agree with the other ladies that you should check with dr if concerned
Missiz sorry to hear your son has been sick, good to hear he is picking up now. Good luck with your scan and seeing your little princess again [emoji4]

@boyzmommy - yea my son also gets delirious and talks all funny in his sleep when he has high fevers, its horrible. And I had the opposite trouble with water, DS2 kept gulping so much water that he would vomit it straight back up and if I tried to get him just to sip, he would have a full out tantrum!!! gah, sick kids
p.s. my name is actually Leah :P I have a good friend who has the same name but its spelled Leigha, I have not seen it spelled those other ways before, they are very cool

Thanks for your support lovely ladies.
Boyz and missiz sorry to hear your ds's haven't been well. It's so heartbreaking to see when they are sick. Glad they are on the mend now. Boyz with all my pregnancies I get numb legs and arms while sleeping and more towards the end of the pregnancy bad leg cramps. I think it's normal but probably should bring it up with our doctors.A friend of mine spells her name Lea with a macron above the A.

Boyz, what a pretty name! My friend spells hers Leiah so there's another to add to your list! [emoji4] I think they're all cute, but personally I wouldn't choose Lya; I read it as Lie-a when I first saw it. Love the other ways though!
