I was sure this was a girl at first as I was extra emotional which is how I was with my daughter. My son brought out more irritability and agression. However, it's since dissipated and I am having the same pregnancy I did with ds so I'm leaning boy big time now.

I had a gut feeling I was having a girl when I found out I was pregnant, then it turns out I'm having twins and I've never had any feeling one way or the other about the other baby. We've confirmed one is a girl and hopefully will confirm the second baby next week. I've had dreams of DH talking about twin girls, but it's never really felt like I knew that was true. I know DH hopes they are both girls so I've attributed the dreams to that.

I feel like this is a boy but I don't think it counts since I have a preference. Seems like intuition is out the window at that point. This pregnancy is really similar to my others except I don't want sweets at all.

Quinn, remind me what you have already and what you're hoping for? For me I craved sweets more with my girl though I still wanted them occasionally with my boy it was way less...I wanted more protein, fatty and greasy foods. I find it interesting that before I got pregnant I thought for sure that if we went through with having a third, I would want a boy and now that I'm pregnant I am hoping girl.

I have two girls and want a boy. I have a major sweet tooth so it's been weird to me that I don't want any sweets. My dad always gives my girls M&Ms and I usually take a few each time and the past couple weeks, they've seemed gross to me. I've been super irritable too but I'm not sure if that's because I'm tired with two kids and working or what.

Quinn- were you sick with your girls? My mom was never sick at all with me or my sister and I was nauseated with DS a lot with insane food aversions. I've been tired this time but never sick, and sweets are amazing. Nothing sounds particularly appetizing but I'm not having aversions either. Lol idk.

I had a week or two if nausea with them. This one lasted longer but finally seems gone at 9 weeks. You're giving me hope! I liked sweets with my girls too. Could be a good sign for you too! I wish this pregnancy felt more different than my others but there are a lot of similarities. Food aversions suck though! I had them a little bit before but it's no fun to be grossed out by the thought of food.

You're giving me hope too! Haha. Food aversions were the WORST! I haven't really had that this time. I mean thinking about food in general right now just seems blah. Not necessarily gross or anything I just feel indifferent about it I guess lol. I've got until mid May for a gender scan sooooooo that's forever away!

I was ignorant and allowed myself to be induced also with my 1st. I was 30yo so I can't even claim I was young! Ha! I succumbed to pressure of delivery before Christmas and my doctor telling me he thought my baby would be too big if I went to full term. He wasn't too big, he was 8lbs 7oz but not too big for me (I'm 5'9 145lbs) and I pushed him out in 2 min. It was a disaster of an induction that lasted 24.5 hrs and almost sent me into emergency surgery bc I was bleeding out from a retained placenta. I went into labor naturally with my 2nd one, 3 weeks early but when I was at a 7-8 and I allowed them to break my water (you would have thought I would have learned about interventions by then!!) and then my contractions were so out of control that I was vomiting and passing out so they gave me an epidural which made my blood pressure and the babies heart rate crash so then they had to do an amino infusion and stabilize both of us so my labor stalled then of course I had to have pitocin to get it started again. After being told by all of the nurses I was going to end up a C-section I finally delivered him after 36.5 hrs of labor. He weighed 7lbs. 6oz. and thankfully was fine. So this go around while I would love a home birth, it's not financially practical for us so I am having it at one of our local hospitals that has recently in the past year turned "baby-friendly" and has birthing suites with a midwife. I'm hoping the third time is a charm for me!
