I'm in the 2 week window of waiting for my results from Harmony. I went ahead and let them check the box for gender and figured I can still back out of knowing if I want to. I think I am leaning toward me knowing and not telling anyone else. I think I can do it. I'm so nervous for the results. I just hope everything is ok. Want to hear the silly reason I'm so nervous? It might be a little tmi but DH abstained from doing anything for about 10-12 days before our attempt and apparently that is discouraged for men over the age of 35yo (DH is 38yo) because its been linked to more developmental problems with the fetus. So hopefully in my attempt to try everything that would help us sway girl I didn't really mess up the health of a little bean. So I'm nervous, we close on our new house in 3 weeks, I still feel like crap and am trying to plan a kitchen renovation for right after we move in. I had myself a really good cry today when I found out our insurance totally screwed me on my last prescription of Diclegis and we paid $355 for it. Which is crazy and we didn't even know we were being charged that amount or I would have declined the prescription bc it's just Unison and Vitamin B6. So that was my breaking point today and I cried while walking out of Walgreens after trying to get any amount refunded back into our HSA. I'm sure I looked crazy and I didn't even care. LOL

I'm so ready to feel better. We're supposed to travel for Easter and I'm so worried I'll feel sick the entire time in the car. I hope everyone has a awesome time sharing their exciting news!! I think I'm going to wait until I get our test results to tell more than just our intermediate family.

Oh, and my cravings are completely different this time, I crave mostly sweets all the time. I can't stand meat or anything heavy or greasy, just little bits at a time of cereal, pop tart, bagel, smoothie or fruit. Nighttime is still the worst, I woke up last night at 3am feeling so nauseous (I had tried to skip my Diclegis for the night) and finally gave in at 6am and took 1 pill. At around 3:30pm every day the worse of the nausea sets in until I take Diclegis and go to bed. So weird, both the cravings and the timing of my nausea but I'm trying hard to read nothing into it bc every pregnancy is different so this could easily be a boy. And to make that point stick with myself I've made myself pick out boy names we both like and agree on. Ha!

Same here. Before preg I had a HUGE sweet tooth. Now I don't know what I have lol. I can't eat meat (makes me gag if I even try. Had a dream last night that I took a bite of a burger and even hated it in my dream and woke up with gagging at the ready). I can't eat anything spicy (as in both hot/pepper spicy or seasoning spicey). With the exception of pickles (which I don't even have a taste for recently) I eat pretty bland food mostly. My adversions are many (and stong!!) and cravings nil at this point. I also get full unbelievably quickly... often after just a few bites. Dr recommended I start drinking an ensure drink every day to help make sure I am getting what I need for baby J... we'll see how that goes.

    🙏 for a healthy 🌈 🚼

Hugs! I can't even imagine a long car ride right now. Even the ones to the corner store make me feel sick. Hope you manage okay!
My panorama results said they would take two weeks, but they came back super fast in just a few days. Hoping your wait is shorter, too!

I heard little bean's heartbeat to day! *squee* So reassuring. I think we're telling the kids tonight. My mom is cooking up a fun way to break the news. Hope they're excited!
Of course, I've been so freaked out the last times I've been at the midwife waiting to hear the heartbeat that my blood pressure has been high, and now I have to see a specialist. :/ Bummer. But better safe than sorry! Anyone else been through this before? My BP is usually on the low side, so this is new territory for me.

My blood pressure is scarily low so no advice for that. I hope it's nothing. I hear that can cause such a headache during pregnancy.

Kmom I was in redding today and thought of you! I had never been. We went to turtle bay.

So......DH told FIL I was pregnant today. His response "That's not good at all. You have too many kids already. You're so stupid for doing this and should abort." Yeah, great. DH didn't even bother to tell him we were having twins. I expected a negative reaction, but I'm wondering how much DH cleaned up the response before relaying it to me. Oh well. We're still doing our official announcement on Easter.

    How funny!

It's a small town. Used to be... cleaner. There are so many transients and druggies now, it sucks. I hope we can manage to move back to Orange County some day. The cost of living is just SO much cheaper here. Makes it hard.

That's terrible bunny girl. I'm sorry, but what an arsehole. No need for that kind of attitude. He doesn't have to raise them.

Afm - well today is the first day I have felt even slightly human for the last month. I managed to keep down meals over the last few days so I'm feeling a bit more energy and not like I want someone to shoot me and put me out of my misery. So yay for me!

Wow. I'm sorry to hear that. Are you guys close with him? Do you think your family will be happy? If it means anything, I think it's cool you're having twins!
