I wish hoping was all it took for us to get what we desire!! I'm hoping you and DH hear boy Quinn31. I think it's hard for some men to not get their boys probably just like us women really want our girls. Someone the other day told me, I wanted to have another baby (she has 2 girls) but the thought of having 3 girls made me not. I didn't know how to take that, lol. I may (most likely if I want to really prepare myself here) end up raising 3 boys and I think I'm ok with it. I know boys at this point and they will all have each other. Would I love a girl? Sure but she may be left out with her brothers too. Either way, I think there's never anything that is for sure easy or guaranteed to be what's best. And when I see a little newborn baby I don't give a hoot about gender I just want to hold and snuggle that baby (and smell them!! lol).

Now that I know (with about 98% certainty) that this is a girl I definitely feel more connected and excited for that new baby smell too:-)

Thanks! Hope you hear girl. You're right though, 3 of the same sex could be a lot of fun. I'm comfortable with girls. I just have to get over the stress of dh and his boy desire. I always wanted a girl so I get it though.

Twointow- my dh is obsessed with surprises. He always shows up early when he's coming home from business trips or does other small silly surprises. I think he'll be fine but I might nag it out of him!

Could anyone else feel the top of their fundus at 13 weeks. I can clearly feel the shape of my uterus and the top of it when I lay flat... even weirder it's nearly to my belly button. Baby measured a bit over a week ahead but near the belly button is 16 week territory according to google. This being my 6th pregnancy may account for that but it's an odd discovery considering I am still wearing my pre-preg pants.

Fifth pregnancy here two and I can't feel mine yet at 12+2. I haven't felt around for it for a few days, but when I did it was hard to palate at all. But I do have a certain amount of belly fat in the way atm 🙄😱 lol. Oh well.

I haven't tried at all and honestly never have so I don't even know what I'm looking for. Last midwife appt my uterus measure on track and was definitely below my belly button. I would say at least for the beginning though, those of us that have had a few pregnancies would be ahead of those that haven't. Your uterus stretches at a more rapid rate. Your doc said baby measured about a week ahead?

Oh I do too, lol. I'm at my lowest weight in a year and a few pounds away from my lowest since high school and I am still very much a plus sized woman and about 30 pounds over my doctor's recommendation for my ideal weight.

DH and I are on pelvic rest but well we let things go too far and I climaxed and my lower abdomen suddenly got very, very tight so I layed there and felt and could easily feel the outline. After the uterine contractions settled I could/can still feel it... not AS defined but still palpable and still just below my belly button.

It's not hard to find, particularly after climax as it will be very firm. If it's high enough your abdomen will feel very tight after and be easier to locate. I had noticed my lower abdomen felt firmer before I realized the fundal height bit now that I know where to feel it's easy to feel for the height. It's like a firm mass amisted far less firm surroundings. If you are very fit, with very toned tummy muscles you *may* have an issue locating it even if it's higher though.

My ultrasound yesterday had baby measuring 14 weeks 2 days. I am just 13 weeks today. I always measure ahead hundal height-wise later in preg by about a week but I don't recall baby ever measuring more than a couple days ahead this early! Makes me wonder how big this baby will be!! DS1 was 8-7 and DS2 was 9-3.... God help me if this baby is even bigger lol. They might have to get the jaws of life to get baby out this time if so as DS2 was so tight in there they had to use a vacuum to get him out via cesarean!!

Lol two 😂 im used to having big babies too. Ive noticed my fundal height seemed to measure ahead aswell yet baby is on track as per dates.

I do notice after 'fun times' it gets very firm but ive also had braxton hicks for a number of weeks now which also gives me this firm feeling and can be quite uncomfortable.

Im sure this baby will be around the 9 pound plus mark. Ive had x2 8 and a half and x2 9 and a half babies. Ds2 is hoping to keep his record as heaviest and he was 9 pound 6 😂😂 so me too
