So another uncooperative baby and a not so great sonographer too (more on that later). Here are pics of the babe, I have no clue if any of these give a hint of gender nub. [emoji16]

Boo that sucks Remind me, are you getting bloodwork or do you have to wait until another u/s for a chance at knowing the gender?

Well, it would have helped if I had loaded the pics in the proper orientation, sorry about that, in my excitement to post them (I just figured out how to use this site on my phone) I didn't take them properly.

Anyhow, so we did the ultrasound, the sonographer asked me what gender my other kids were I told her boy, she immediately said "Well you know this is a boy too then. The odds are against you that you will have a girl." So I asked her how many kids she has, turns out she has 3, all boys. She said that since I did my Harmony blood work yesterday she wasn't going to bother with any 1st trimester screening during the ultrasound because it would be a waste of her time. She was a dandy I tell ya.

But I got to see baby, it's laying on its side and wouldn't budge. My placenta is anterior, which is new for me, I've never had that but after reading that may be the reason for no belly yet and I may not feel the baby move until closer to 20 weeks and the heartbeat can be harder to detect later in the pregnancy. At least that's what I gathered off Google. If anyone else has had anterior please feel free to weigh in, I'd love to hear others perspectives!

None of those are profile shots. My sonographer had a stick up her butt and told me gender without asking if I wanted to know..luckily I didn't care. What was wrong with yours?

Dang I don't eat sugar alternatives though so looks like I'm either suffering or cheating. Lol. I'm wondering if since this is likely a girl I'd that will help keep weight down. Aren't girls usually smaller on average than boys?

Sucky u/s tech! Sorry about that. Nobody has ever told me placenta location. I know this baby is practically laying on my cervix though (which explains the pressure I have been feeling) but beyond that I am clueless. As far as movement, I have always felt it early'ish. So based on what you've read I guess mine are always posterior.

Looks like we'll be getting results around the same time. FX you get your dream gender and a clean bill of health for baby.
