I called the nurse and she said I have to wait for my doctor to be in tomorrow to give me the results, because she isn't aware of the situation, so I asked her can you at least read me the results, she said no, I was like oh my, she said it isn't anything to be worried about. She rather have doctor tell me results because she knows what's going on and etc. she isn't aware of anything. I'm so mad! I have to wait till tmrw! Whatever I'm trying to stay positive knowing my test are darker, I will take clear blue digi tmrw morning that I have left over

jenren, that's interesting. Do you have any theories as to why AF stayed away for so much longer this time? I would be very frustrated! I'm terrified of it taking ages for AF to return after I have kids.

afrevert, congrats! BFP on a digi at 11dpo is fantastic! Was this your first cycle TTC?
If I dont get a BFP this cycle I may take you up on your offer maiden. Thankyou so much for thinking of me and be willing to help.x
I have been stalking you ff chart too comparing it to mine you also had a small dip yesterday!

Also it amazes me that you are talking about afs returning late after births because even with pcos and breast feeding mine was between 4-8weeks all times. Funny how it different with everyone!

Ugh Princess, rule sticklers are so annoying! But I'm very confident your results are good.

afrevert, some women seem to need oopsies to get girls. Fx for pink!

BR, happy to help if I can. The variation re when cycles return is truly amazing. There is so much we don't know/understand, clearly.

Pbn3, here's my chart, fairly normal for me so far post O, nothing exciting:

    My Ovulation Chart

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Yup if all is still promising/not discouraging I will test 10dpo with a SurePredict (cheap strip but almost as sensitive as old style FRERs). If I see something on that I will test with a FRER, old style. If stark white I'll wait until 15dpo/AF is late.

Nice to see your cross hairs though I think you Oed a day later. Jealous of your earlier O!

Maiden the only thing I can think of is that ds3 is still bf. However both my others were bf like crazy when I became pregnant and only weaned after a positive hpt (they really seemed to dislike the taste of my milk during pregnancy.)
Every month I go through at least of week of progesterone related symptoms but have yet to get af. It makes me wonder if my body keeps gearing up but then failing to release the egg.

This week I got a dark opk (9 days following my last dark opk) it was almost the same color but not quite as dark as the control. When I tested 24hrs later it was just a very faint line. What is going on with my body [emoji24]

Hmmm. I wish I had personal experience with your situation! How old are you? Did your first 2 boys night wean sooner than DS3? Any BFing differences between them and DS3 that you can think of? Are you a significantly different weight than you were when you got AF back previously? Have you made any significant changes to your diet or lifestyle since DS3's birth? Have there been any changes to your health?

It might be worth trying Vitex again or could you get Femara (if in the UK or US you can buy online) to induce O. Or obviously you could wean DS3 since he might wean soon after you're pregnant anyway? If you BF at night I would try going as long as possible overnight (at least 8hrs) without feeding to see if that helps, as often it seems to do the trick. O

Jenren, I agree with Maiden on night weaning (that's if you and DS3 are ready for it). I only seem to get pregnant when my babies have stopped nursing at night. With DS1, I night weaned him around 12/13 months and three days later I O'ed then got pregnant with DS2 that cycle. I think what it is with nursing at night, is your body probably figures it's taxed enough feeding a baby during the day AND night, so another baby thrown in the mix isn't the best idea. I know there are women who O regardless of how much/when they breastfeed but I also know that some of us need to reduce/stop nursing in order to get pregnant. Also, this might sound crazy but both times while I was nursing to help bring on O, I slept in total darkness for awhile (as in no street lights, moonlight etc just complete pitch black darkness is what you want) then did a couple of nights with a night light on in our bedroom. I think it's called lunaception...it's supposed to sync your cycles with the moon and trick your body into thinking it's a full moon (O time). I know it sounds out there but I think it's worth a try. It did seem to help but maybe it was just a coincidence.

I'm 27. I'm 100lbs which is a slightly less than I weighed after the other two boys. I went vegetarian about 2.5 months ago and dropped to 95lbs so I've added higher calorie foods back into my diet a few times a week in order to get back up to 100.

Ds1 and Ds2 did night wean a little earlier because I worked nights so I would be gone and they preferred sleep to the bottle lol. I finally got to a point were ds3 can go from 8pm to 4am without nursing (thank goodness) and I am really working to wean him completely. I am tired of nursing but he looks at me with big eyes and says "peease mom nus" and I cave. we are down to 3-4 sessions in 24hrs now.

Maiden I will pm you. I would love more info about Femara and taking it safely.
