How is everyone going? I'm getting more tired rather than less atm, but I blame my toddler who I am moving into the big kid room, because he is being a pain in the arse and waking up ever 2-3 hrs and then sometimes he just wakes four or
Five times in the hour. He waits long enough that I am back to bed and nearly asleep before he does it tho, which is beastly. I'm not loving it atm. But if not that, then cosleeping with him is a pain because he wants to snuggle but he gropes me all night long. I can't wait until he settles down. This mum needs some sleep.

Sounds like he is either a light sleeper or comfort seeking (or both). Is he is a big boy bed? My youngest has been a comfort seeker since the day he was born- first with constant (and I am NOT exaggerating) nursing, then with needing to sleep with someone. Both my boys had their own bed but DS2 would always sleep with DS1 even when they both got so big that they barely fit on the tiny twin size matress together. So, we finally went and bought a full size matress set and to this day at ages 9 & nearly 6 they still sleep together. He sleeps well with a bed mate and poorly alone. His dr. Says it is co-dependent behaviour and they need to be separated at night but I see no harm in it. He has no monster fears or anything and I think this is because of the comfort he gets sharing the bed. A day will come when separation will be necessary but for now it works. I say all that because if one of your older kids (if u have any... I can't recall and I can't see your signature) would be okay with sharing the bed it may help.

I keep asking him if he wants to sleep with his big sister, cos she is super keen to, but he just says no and runs back to me. It might be worth a try sneaking him into her bed when I go to bed tho.

Yes, it can't hurt to try and it may take several attempts before you know if it's going to work esp if he is attached to sleeping with you. Another thing you could try if that doesn't work is putting a body pillow between you both with your hand on him (so he can feel you are still there) which will help with the groping and hopefully he will get used to clutching the body pillow instead of you and once that happens he may not need you to sleep. It's all trial and error but you'll find something that works. It just will take some patience.... which I know is easier said than done when sleep deprived. (((Hugs)))

Oh he is now in the big kids room. Has been for about a week and a half and no matter how much persistence it requires, he isn't coming back to me. I tried everything to get him to give me space. I was sleeping in a king sized bed with his cot attached and he still ended up squeezing me across to a foot of bed and groping me all night long. He is obsessed with touching my boobs.

That sucks. Does he still nurse, or recently weaned?
