You get your first peak reading sometime between 8-48 hours before O (8 is extremely unusual and typically only in people who aren't testing regularly - 48 hours is way more common than 8). The average is 24-36 hours range. So that first peak will be 1-2 days before O Day.

The problem with DTD on high fertility is that it is not always the way it says on the package. We have people who get 7 days of high fertility some months and other people who get zero days and go right to peak, or even people who have days of high that then go away without ever going to peak, and then a week or two later they'll actually O. So you can BD thinking that you're on your last day of high and then get 5 more days of high after that, or you can just wake up one day and see a peak, and it's really a lot harder on you in the long run trying to hit that.
Peak indicates O is coming. High indicates it MAY be coming in a few days maybe perhaps or maybe not.My advice is BD on first peak. Good odds of conception and still a little cutoff for those of you who believe in it.

BD when it is convenient for you because it is very improbable that time of day means ANYTHING. The reason swaying works is because your body detects cues from the environment that indicate to it that a boy or a girl has a better shot at survival to pass down genes to future generations. BD at morning vs. night could not possibly make any difference whatsoever to the survival of a boy vs. a girl in the long term. BD when you can without making yourself too crazy.
You are putting way too much faith into the OPK tests. They are much more unrelliable and imprecise than you realize. BD night of first peak, that is what tons of us did and got girls doing that. It absolutely COULD still be O-1 or O-2. It's not some hour by hour countdown, it's all about what your body decides to do. Some people are getting first peak 2-3 days before O!!!!!!
