Unfortunately I've had a missed miscarriage. Giving my body some time, and then I am going to try again.
So for highest chances for a girl, I will:
- have one attempt at positive Opk.
- reduce or even cut out red meat
- drink a glass of white wine every night
- coffee
- only supplement to take will be folic acid
Is doing cardio or having no exercise at all best?
My husband won't frequent realease so we would be abstaining before our one attempt. How many days of abstaining is the ideal?
Anything else important that I've missed? X

I think abstaining for 7 to 10 days is recommended!I will be trying myself in 6 wks and I'm taking fibre and folic acid, I'm also taking Olive leaf extract which I heard recently lowers blood sugar levels which sways pink! Also I bought a salt lamp which strangely enough has made my cycle regular

Is your husband younger than 35?? If he's over 35 I would NOT recommend abstain and instead have him do regular release every 2-4 days instead.
Doing cardio is best but if you don't feel up to it, I wouldn't force it.
You need to be following the limits of the LE Diet, really. Just cutting out red meat, if you then eat tons of chicken or something instead, is not going to sway pink. This is 1500-1800 cals (and I'd do upper limits of that), 40-50 g protein, 30-60 g fat.
I like anyone who's had a MMC to take 18-30 mg iron 3x a week. Early pregnancy is an iron-greedy time and it may be hard for you to catch up on LE Diet.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks Atomic. We arnt trying until a years time now. Husband will be 32 at that point, so would 7 days abstain be alright?
How long should I do cardio for? Is 60 minutes ok? Or otherwise am I ok to do nothing at all? I'm admittedly a couch potato....
Oh dear I didn't know that about chicken, I thought it was just red meat we had to mainly watch for. I'm abit worried about doing the LE diet really as I already naturally have a low weight. I eat a lot, but I don't know if it's my metabolism that makes it very difficult for me to gain weight. I wouldn't want to cut out too many calories in case it interferes with my ovulation etc.
What would you recommend I do in my case? Xx

Atomic can I just ask, my husband will be 35 in a week and we are trying in June, is abstaining still ok or would you recommend frequent release? We got pregnant 1st time we tried on all 3 baby's :-)

It is not like flipping a switch, it is just that 35 is the age at which risks of possible issues GRADUALLY start to rise. Most babies are born perfectly fine and healthy even with dads in their 50s. 35 is just an arbitrary cutoff date that I use, there's no difference between abstain being ok in one week and not the next just because he had a birthday.
