Can't wait to see!! And I'm with you I wouldn't be able to feel any relief and happiness until I get that 7 week scan if I get a bfp. Nothing you can do but take it a day at a time until you get there. Hope it goes really quickly for you! If only we could fall asleep and wake up a week later [emoji23]

Thanks Pbn3, I am so glad of this site, my DH thinks am a freak because we already have a DD, he does not get my perspective at all! BR I think it must be such a mixture of emotions when your pregnant after trying to sway, I never swayed with any of my three. Such a combination of concerns about mc, bean been healthy and then whether it is a girl or boy, exciting and terrifying all at the same time!

But I always tend to go overboard on things *sigh (lol)
I think he decides based on the scan but I had a look at my previous monitored clomid cycles and my follicle was 16mm on cd13 1st time and 18.5mm on cd14 2nd time. Maybe I should just get the tigger prescription filled although I think they probably just want to use the trigger to make it seem like I can't do it on my own and need to pay for more monitored cycles.. haha I'm such a skeptic.

Good to see you again Pbn! As always, I have my FX for you!

Purple, I think the trigger is sometimes used to help the follicle mature depending on what's used as the trigger and it helps to release the egg in a timely manner. I was supposed to be doing Femara+trigger+IUI this month (I think the IUI was just thrown in as a money maker) and I think the RE wanted to do the HCG trigger since I O late on my own and she didn't want to risk me O'ing late even with meds. I was supposed to have the trigger done on CD13 which would have been a super early O for me. I think if you don't O late with the Clomid then the trigger wouldn't be necessary but then again maybe it wouldn't hurt to try it?

BR, good luck at your scan! I have mine tomorrow at 6 weeks. I had a nightmare last night about having a miscarriage so I think it's really on my mind...it's definitely a fear of mine. I'm both excited and very nervous about tomorrow. My tests are still really dark and I already got the 3+ result on the CB digital but I'm still anxious! I'm hoping to see my little nugget with a nice heartbeat and measuring right on.

Good too see you back Maiden and PBN, hopefully we can get some BFP's soon. FX

Crappy post O temps but still got my crosshairs this morning, I already feel like this cycle is a bust for me.

I got my +OPK bloodwork back and its disappointing. LH was the highest it has ever been at 63 (previous highest was 48), which necessarily isn't bad but my Estradiol was only 137. It should be around 200 per mature follicle so it really bummed me out this weekend. But I was just reading that the Femara could be the cause of the lower Estradiol number as its job is to keep your level very low, so I feel a little better about this cycle. Hopefully my temp jumps tomorrow.

Hi welcome back maiden and pbn3 , this is cycle 4 for me , 4 is a lucky number for me i think so hoping this will be my lucky cycle
But im rather confused with my opks! I really wish i could temp for accuracy but dont have a proper sleep pattern for it.
I got what i think was a +ve op on cd9 ?! And since then all ive had is almost +ve opks but not quite as dark as cd9. So im unsure if im gearing up to O or already have. Mmmm time will tell i suppose

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and thinking of me! Here is my chart:

    My Ovulation Chart

Pbn3, I was pretty pleased about the much increased volume of the 2nd insemination. But I'm not getting my hopes up or anything. I'm so glad to hear you tried this month!

Purple, I think triggers are great, both for assuring timely O (Oing late in medicated cycles, even just CD17, can negatively affect egg quality, especially if you have any PCOS tendencies) and for boosting odds of conception hormonally, as well as improving the uterine lining. I'd totally get it if it's an option at all!

Girlie, since you got a girl without swaying you may not need to sway as hard as others...I think you would be fine to start TTC this cycle.

tfahn, the Femara should actually increase estrogen levels around the time of O/a few days before, but some women do react atypically. I think you are one of these given your late O and low post O temps on both Clomid and Femara. Maybe you do need injections, and a trigger shot. If all your smazing BDing doesn't do the trick this cycle!

Sharon, everyone has at least one mini LH surge about a week before O. I bet that is what your dark OPK picked up on CD9. When do you usually O?

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Oh i didnt know that maiden, your right i bet i O later this week, i used to always O quite late anywhere between cd 21_26 but my cycles have gotten alot shorter for some reason and i now have between 25-28 days and have been Oing anywhere between cd 14+ 18, last month however was a very strange short cycle where i O'd on cd 13 and had an 8 day LP. So dont know whats going on with my cycles , i did try taking vit b6 last month so ive dropped that x

Good luck for your scan ksmom. Hoping to hear good news from you. Which I'm sure it will be. If I had not change the date mine would have been tomorrow too but I really want the best chance of seeing our little pip at sering a baby shape not just a little blip. so prosponed it for a week. But I have the same worries as you. It's real big on my mind this time never really thought about it beforw
