Sharon, I'm sure the sway is messing up your cycles, though earlier O is good! I hope things settle down this cycle, and I'm glad you dropped the B6. What CD are you on now? Any signs of imminent O?

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

Pbn3, I was pretty pleased about the much increased volume of the 2nd insemination. But I'm not getting my hopes up or anything. I'm so glad to hear you tried this month!

Purple, I think triggers are great, both for assuring timely O (Oing late in medicated cycles, even just CD17, can negatively affect egg quality, especially if you have any PCOS tendencies) and for boosting odds of conception hormonally, as well as improving the uterine lining. I'd totally get it if it's an option at all!

Girlie, since you got a girl without swaying you may not need to sway as hard as others...I think you would be fine to start TTC this cycle.

tfahn, the Femara should actually increase estrogen levels around the time of O/a few days before, but some women do react atypically. I think you are one of these given your late O and low post O temps on both Clomid and Femara. Maybe you do need injections, and a trigger shot. If all your smazing BDing doesn't do the trick this cycle!

Sharon, everyone has at least one mini LH surge about a week before O. I bet that is what your dark OPK picked up on CD9. When do you usually O?

Thank Maiden I thought this as well but atomic said I unintentionally swayed pink, my dd was conceived a few weeks after we got married, I had dieted for a whole year for the wedding and was the lowest weight I have ever been, I walked the dog three times a day, so was at least an hour but not a fast pace, my diet was not le but I strictly ate 3 meals per day but would have had cereal for two meals. I am just concerned that I did sway for my dd and given am not at that weight, don't think I would ever get to that weight again, I have lost 6 stone since last April! It is just so hard to know, before I came to this site I just assumed I was lucky I got dd, I also assumed that I would have a second, now I realise that I definitely lived a blue sway lifestyle when I conceived both boys! Hope the changes I have made or enough! X

maiden i actually had some signs the previous few days, none now tho as my cm has went creamy/sticky. Its all a guessing game really tho isnt it because i dont temp so dont actually know if i have even ovd at all each month. I dont get strong ov cramps or anything tho, i usually just go by opks going strong positive and the lots of ewcm which goes creamy the day after i think i ov.
I didnt realise the b6 swayed pink until atomic told me to drop it, is the bcomplex not reccomended either ?

Girlieplease yes you were defo a very very pink sway lifestyle when you conceived your dd, so guessing your going to have to replicate that lifestyle as much as possible!

Thank you! I'm only having the scan so early because the RE wants to make sure that my losses haven't been because of baby implanting in the wrong spot. Plus I just need the reassurance as soon as I can get it. If all goes well, I'll be switching from the RE to either an OB or midwife.

Girlie, just bc you had a strong unintentional sway when you conceived your DD doesn't necessarily mean you NEED to replicate that. Keep in mind there are many moms of all boys, 3+ oftentimes, who have always been thin and very active but still got boys. I'm not suggesting you shouldn't give it your all, just saying you don't know that you are that set for blue. Plus our bodies change over time, especially with multiple pregnancies. Anything you can do to sway pink will help!

Sharon, yes B6 and B vitsmins in general sway blue.

The RE called today since they just got my results from my +OPK bloodwork on Friday ( I can see it before them). They were really happy with my numbers, I was surprised they said that. So I asked about the Estradiol only being 137 and they said that they see low Estradiol numbers with Femara all the time and it's totally normal/fine. They said if I was on Clomid then that number would be too low and would need to be closer to 200. So I guess I'm not totally out this cycle after all. I go Friday for a Progesterone Level check, fingers crossed it's a good number and I don't have to have the supplement issue arise.
