Thread: Starving!

    Starving!

    Why am I so hungry today?
    I ate 2 buns each with cheese, red peppers, spread, and a soup. Then I had a home made pizza with a strawberry salad and then red licorice and pop tarts. Oh my I just can't stop eating!

    I've had 1980 calories, 58g of protein and 46g of fat.
    Did I blow my diet today?
    Why am I so hungry? I was expecting AF today but FF says to expect AF on Monday. Is it the progesterone causing me to be so hungry?

    Those numbers look fine to me but it's an individual thing; I exercise most days so aim for the higher end of what's recommended. It's totally normal to get hungrier around the time af is due, can't remember why exactly but it is a hormonal thing x

    Try not to think "did I blow my diet?" based on one day. You are allowed a cheat day now and then, and as 3'sacharm said, those numbers aren't even over recommended totals for someone who's active/tall/high metabolism and sticking to the upper range. The important thing is that you try to reduce cal, fat and protein on many days over a long period, not that you get every single day perfect. :-)

    That is a notoriously hungry part of the cycle. It's very, very common to feel ravenous at that point in time. Don't worry about it, you're still in the limits of LE Diet (a little high on protein but still in the alternate LE Diet range) Even if you did exceed the limits, it's just one day. no worries!!

    this is NOT like the old school mineral balancing diets where supposedly one day would undo everything and you'd have to start over (and seriously - did that even make any SENSE? who on earth EVER ate only high salt no calcium or high calcium no salt diet at all ever??? and yet that was supposed to explain gender ratio? made no sense) ON LE Diet, you have a bad day and that's ok, it's the overall diet as a whole over time that matters and not just one day here or there. Pick up and let it go and move on from here.
