Oh and antidepressants

This is a question for atomic, or anyone else who may know the answer.
Ive not had any luck ttc the last 4 months even though with my 1st 2 children we conceived straight away..... def been dtd at the right times but just not catching...could the fact my oh is on antidepressants be the reason we are not conceiving ? Could they be affecting his sperm count or something?

There are a lot of factors to consider first: when are you DTD, are you doing anything to see if you're ovulating, how much are you eating, etc.?

we were doing the one attempt at the +ve opk. Im not temping but doing opk's and watching cervical fluid etc. Then we tried e4d last month and that never worked (altho i ended up dtd twice in fertile period ) so i dont know . Im eating prob a wee bit more than i should be while swaying pink so im not under eating thats for sure x Thnaks for reply

Yes it absolutely can really lower odds of conception, can you give me a recap of everything that you guys are doing so I can see what to tweaK??

I'd have you guys go to e4d plus one at pos OPK and see what happens.

Is he doing anything like hot baths or tighty whiteys?

No he hasnt been doing anything to help the sway as he doesnt know we are swaying! Hed prob think im nuts if i told him haha
Heres what ive done to try help with swaying pink :

Cut back on salt, not adding any at all to food (i would usually cake it on)
Stopped drinking squash, now only having water or cans of diet pepsi/diet coke
Having alcohol more often (usually vodka/diet pepsi)
Cut out red meat & having some chicken breast only
Cut back on snacking as im a bit of a grazer
Skipping breakfast everyday
Cut down on the cups of tea i used to drink
Only supplement im taking is 800ug of Folic acid
Stopped eating bananas
Was doing one attempt at positive opk but last month done ev4d but was cheeky and ended up dtd twice, once 4 days before O & 2 days before O (first day of +ve opk)

I would try going to e4d plus one attempt at positive OPK.

e4d should not end up being 4 days before O though - that's slim odds of conception. O-3, O-2, O-1, O Day are all ok days for attempts, with O-2 adn O-1 best results for conception.

Okay thanx atomic, im really worried this isnt going to happen, trying to be laid back ofcourse! This may be our last month trying so im going to think positive & pray for a healthy baba (girl hopefully) xx Its hard because my ov day is never the same but ill do what youv recommended

What do you think of my 'sway' ? I meant to ask, i know its a very lazy attempt but its what i feel i could change and stick too without being miserable.xx

If this is your last month I'd have you in with two attempts - either e4d plus one more attempt at pos OPK, OR e3d if you can't tell when pos OPK is.

Your sway looks great to me (although I no longer think salt or bananas help at all) and it's the laid back ones that are successful!! Do the doable!!
