Hi, my OH started antibiotics last night for an infected bite on his leg. We dtd Tuesday night and I should be ovulating today or tomorrow latest as positive opk yesterday but super strong one today. He sort of pulled out so not sure how much actually would have been there!
Wondering if we should dtd again tonight or leave it as it is?
Will him taking antibiotics away blue after a day of taking them?
Thanks

To try to leave the swimmers close to the entrance but just not sure how much was actually close enough.
Think we won't have another attempt this month and just hope some made it

Hi squigglepink, missed coming on here! I broke my phone and then went away for a week where there was no internet so couldn't get on sadly! Still waiting for a phone but currently on the laptop for a quick catch up :-)

I think you should stick with one even half-hearted attempt if at all possible.
Taking antibiotics for one day will do nothing (and I don't think they sway blue anyway. never seen one iota of science backing that notion up)!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks Atomic, I think so too otherwise I might regret not trying that. Then next month the antibiotics should be out of his system before our next attempt if we didn't make it this month. Still got a positive opk this evening so hoping I ovulate tomorrow at the latest as its been 48 hours since our attempt.

I just wanted to mention I have never seen anything that proves that shallow release does anything and I believe it to really cut odds of conception by a lot - I've recently found that several of my swayers who have inexplicably taken months and months to conceive despite my best efforts and dropping every sway tactic except diet/exercise, were unbeknownst to me, doing shallow release. They drop shallow, get BFP in 2-3 months after 6-12 months of BFN

The presence or absence of pos OPK does not tell you if you've ovulated or not, unfortuantely. it only measures the amount of hormone in your urine and not if O has occurred or not. You can get a positive OPK and already have Oed, or it can have gone negative and still not have Oed yet.
OPK - they suck, but they're all we have.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
