    Hi Robin,
I'm just starting out too. Welcome. You definitely don't have to do only two meals. If you're finding it really hard, do three! I think the important thing is to have drops in your blood sugar, which will happen on three meals if you're not snacking on between. I wake up at 6:30, do lunch at 11am, supper at 6:30, and a snack around 9:30.

Awesome Thank you for your response! Ya I still have a solid 15 pounds to go until I reach my goal weight .. so I'm just finding the whole thing difficult. I find I don't lose weight with any sort of carbs. But maybe when I add cardio to my routine I'll drop the pounds! Lol

Argh. Yesterday I was sooooo over my fat/protein totals. We went out for brunch with friends and there was nothing both vegetarian and gluten free on the menu so I had three eggs with bacon, two foods I almost never eat, but I figured one time wouldn't hurt if I had a low-fat, low-protein supper.
Supper was leftovers from a very LE-friendly bean/rice/veggie chili I'd made. But while I was busy with the baby DH warmed up my plate and grated like a POUND of cheese all over it without asking me. I had to eat it anyway since I didn't have time to make a whole new meal from scratch. Pretty sure the cheese alone was like 60g fat & protein. :/

I just thought I would take a cheat day when I'd been doing the diet a little longer than 6 days! :P

Both 2 or 3 meals are perfectly acceptible on LE. You DO NOT have to eat only 2 meals. Just push breakfast back a bit.

I always had 3 meals and got my girl that way.

    Have one instead.

If you can't do something to the nth degree, the solution is to cut back. People have this misconception where they can't do EVERYthing, so they do nothing. There is a huge amount of wiggle room between 4 cups of coffee and zero.

The coffee is easy and it's getting great results. Dont' throw the baby out with the bath water!
