We loosely swayed for a boy, and pretty much followed a boy friendly lifestyle. After 12 months and being diagnosed as borderline pcos, i gave up keeping my legs in the air, and just rolled over and went to sleep. That is to say, I didn't jump and dump. I also had a HSG that month, which I read sways boy. Nope, I have a beautiful 1 year old daughter sleeping next to me. I think it's many things that effect your sway as Atomic says!

Maybe if it takes you longer to get pregnant then laying down for ages won't harm anything at all. I got pregnant very fast with my son but I had multiple attempts and lay down all night with him.
I did an immediate jump and dump when I got pregnant with the baby I lost the other month, so think I do get pregnant very easily.
I haven't even had a BFP yet, I've only seen the positive Opk the day after we DTD, but I'm preparing for a boy lol.
    Thanks for replies everyone xx

I've been trying my best with the LE. I've been naughty and drinking tea though, I couldn't keep up with the coffee instead
Can you remember how long you lay down with your girl on those attempts? Xx

I had a pretty extreme LE lifestyle (though all unintentionally!). I think if you saw my diet and exercise when I conceived, you'd have been shocked to think I'd ever thought I could get a boy!

I laid down probably on average 20 minutes to a half hour -- mostly because we're postcoital cuddlers ;P

I think you're getting overly focused on this one detail and it's messing with your head.

Not I nor anyone else knows if there is some magic lenght of time to lay down and how strongly it sways if it even does (if it does, it is VERY likely down to the individual couple and by the month, and not some set amount of time that is the same for all of us in every month that passes.
