Thinking about adding a 4th and finial to our family. I am thinking about doing a light sway. I recently got into exercising and weight lifting. I didn't weight lift when I got pregnant with my 3 boys. Wondering how huge of a role it would play. I plan on no breakfast, working out on an entry stomach, changing my diet, and maybe timing.

Hmmm. I'm hesitant to lift weights while swaying. I have always lifted. I lifted with DS1, not with DS2 (couch potato but lost a ton of weight), and I did cardio and light weights with DS3. While I had a total boy lifestyle with DS1 and DS2, I had a failed sway that brought me my sweet DS3 [emoji4].
There were other things going on during my last sway. That being said, this time I wanted to stick to what has been working for most people- LE diet for 12+ weeks, 60min cardio only for 6-7 days a week, one attempt or BDing every 4 days, alcohol, coffee (decaf since I'm breastfeeding), folic acid, and fiber if eating a fatty/nutrient rich meal (rare for me).
I think you've got to do what you think is best. Light weights should be fine, especially if you're also doing the cardio for the recommended time.
FX and GL to you!

I'm keeping some light weights twice a week in the context of a cardio class. Today I did the class, which lasted 45min, then hopped on the elliptical for another 20min. The rest of the week I'm power walking or biking. I feel like it shouldn't hurt me too much because the weights are so light I barely feel them and they help get my heart rate up. When I got DS1 I was walking an hour or more every day with no weights, so I'm not sure how much faith I have in cardio for me personally, even if the stats are good. I'm focusing more on diet.

You can get a girl with any level or type of exercise, even doing light weights, provided you are eating a lower protein, lower cal, lower fat diet.
I have seen women who are doing weights who got girls. Sure.
Now do I think it's your optimal chances of success, nah, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I plan on doing the le diet 60 mins of cardio and lights weights. Weight lifting is not something I want to give up. ( I know sounds selfish). I just wanted to
Make sure it wouldn't completely ruin my light sway.2008

Can I hi-jack this thread slightly? I'm trying not to let myself obsess over every aspect of my sway but having said that I don't want to go to the effort of doing exercise 6 days a week and not having it count towards my sway in a positive way... Anyway, I do an hour boxing-style cardio class a few times a week, is that OK for a girl sway? I wasn't sure if the aggressiveness they ask you to channel in the class would sway blue?

Has anyone not given up weight lifting?
I have a longtime friend who had a boy in feb09 and another in mar12 who said she wasnt sure if she would ever get a daughter because they had to bd close to o in order to conceive (aka disproved shettles
) and her hubs was 98% sure he was done with just 2 kids....so they continued the rhythm method to avoid and it worked for 3 yrs and then she was eating more protein than ever in her life and taking a weight lifting/building class (her words to me when i asked out of curiousity if her lifestyle was different than when she conceived her boys) and she said the rhythm method failed them one time and baby girl came along born feb16 .... so her change to protein and weights may have shifted her normal o pattern and hubs 2% ok with having another kid got her her babygirl she always wanted
Just sharing not debating or trying to give false hope just saying anything is possible

I fully agree that everyone can get a boy or a girl when running straight from the opposite color's playbook.
