    Stopping Vit D?

Hi all! I had my baby boy in May and now that it's July here, just wondering if I should be weaning off the vitamin D (1000ui daily) or keep taking it since winter will be here in about 3 months. If I quit is it okay to quit cold turkey since it's not really a strong supplement or do EOD for a week the stop? Eventually in about 3 years I'll probably want to sway again for a girl so eventually I'll want to stop it. [emoji6] Anyone who has stopped let me know!

It's safe to take up to 2000 IU year round safely if you're not near the equator. If you're in the US/UK/Canada like the majority of GD, you'd fall into that area!

Most sources now believe the RDA for Vit. D is lower than it really ought to be and I recommend 1000 IU just for general health and well being for practically everyone. I'd have you continue.

Vit D is a fat soluble nutrient that your body is relatively good at storing so it is possible to just drop it, but as a general rule i do prefer everyone wean off nutrients when they can just cause.
