My youngest was adamant that my baby was a girl nothing we said would change his mind to what baby was. Wouldn't hear of it. Boy was he right. I think there is something to be said for a child's intuition.x

I won't ever get a tubal. For one, I have vaginal births so no need to go in unnecessarily. And two, it's more permanent. For a man, it's quick easy and in and out. It's also easier to reverse if that came about later in life.
I told hubs he has to get the snippity snip. I'm not good with BC so there's that. And obviously NFP doesn't work, although we were 1.5years strong on that! This little bug wanted to be.

Several ladies in my mommy group have had a tubal done and they all complain about how wacky their cycles and hormones are. I think if you're okay with the potential side effects and will already be having a c-section (or are okay with major surgery for the tubal) then do it. Vasectomies are much less invasive and for men it's an in and out procedure so he could have it done in the morning and go to work later that day. Also, IF you were to get pregnant after having the vasectomy done, there's no risk to you unlike with a tubal there's a high chance the pregnancy would be ectopic. The only thing with a vasectomy is you'd have to use protection for at least 3 months afterward before he'll be tested to be sure no sperm are getting through.
