I've always had lots of energy, hahaha! Maybe that's why I have boys

Anyone temp vaginally? Xxforhubby you mentioned your temps were very high during AF? Am cd2 temp was 36.66, I don't think I have ever got a reading that high!

AF arrived this morning and I am just devastated. I was two days late and I had gotten a faint positive on a FRER yesterday morning so I was really hoping I was going to see a solid BFP in the next few days. I am now wondering if it was a chemical...I started testing early at 12 DPO and since it was negative I had made up my mind days ago I wasn't pregnant but then of course AF had to be late...I've had a 28 day cycle for 8 months. So annoying. And to top if off one of my good friends texted me last night that she was pregnant (on first cycle). UGH.

I am so emotional this morning and DH isn't helping. He is incredibly annoyed with this whole swaying process and is becoming insistent that we need to BD every day in order to get pregnant (which we did when conceiving DS on first cycle). I am going to try for two attempts for this third cycle but if that doesn't work I have a feeling he is going to get even more upset. How is everyone else's DH dealing with the swaying? Mine thinks it's all crap even though I've pointed him to specific studies proving that increased fertility produces more boys while decreased produces more girls. He's annoyed with my vegetarian/LE diet, he thinks I've lost too much weight and am too skinny, thinks I am crazy for taking the Clomid for sway tactics, and he finds my daily hour of exercise pointless. He thinks we have the same odds of having a girl with or without all of this swaying. I feel like it's so easy for him to judge since he's got his boy already. Anyways, just venting.

jenc, my husband was the exact same. I had to keep a lot of what I was doing to myself. I totally feel your pain but soon enough it will all be worth it. You know deep in your heart that this is what you want to do and what you believe in. Stay true to that. Don't let anyone throw you off your game especially when they don't understand or believe in it and like you said, he already has his boy. When I say it will all be 'worth it' what I mean is that in the end you will feel good giving the sway your best shot. Regardless of the outcome, you won't have to live with "what if". Its a short sacrifice, for a possible wonderful outcome. Stay strong!

You will see higher temps vaginally than you did when temping orally. It also is not uncommon to have higher than normal temps during AF. You will start to see a normal biphasic pattern as you continue to temp.

JenC- if you want to keep swaying, then I would throw your DH a bone and start BDing every 4 days starting when AF ends. That way, you are having sex more frequently AND only having one attempt in your fertile window still. If you decide to BD every 4 days, you would BD on Monday and then again on Friday for example. Continue BDing until you get past the latest CD you've ever ovulated OR until CD22.

A bonus is you can ditch the opks! You may want to still temp though if you're doing that to keep tabs on your cycle. I found that my DH is totally fine BDing every 3-4 days and hasn't really noticed the other stuff I'm doing (diet and exercise).

    FX and GL to you!!

Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement Nessa! I think I need to go down the same route you did and stop talking to my DH about this process as often as I do now. I also need to do a better job of keeping it all in perspective and to keep reminding myself...short term losses, long term gains and even if it doesn't end the way I want it to, at least I know I tried everything within my power to make it happen. I am so glad that we all have support on this board from women who understand exactly what we are all going through and feeling! Thank you again :-)
