You can pick Atomic's brain on this one, but I feel it falls into the moderate category. If you can't do the 6-7 days a week, we've seen good results with even 4-5 days at the 60min duration.

I think it is something to do with mother been in state of deprivation. If your eating limited calories and exercising for an hour that helps get your body in this state x

Guys, it's really hard for me to keep up with support threads so when there is a question PLEASE start a thread in the forums and ask me. I'd much rather you did that then be guessing about what I'd say or whatever.
If I had a time machine I'd love to go back in time and call the 60 6-7 exercise anything except "intense". I never meant that to refer to the perceived intensity of one's exercise, I meant that to reference the time and amount, vs. something, well, more moderate like 30 min 4 days a week like the blue swayers do. It can be walking. It doens't need to be any certain heart rate or Olympic level of intensity. all it needs to be is actual exercise (not aimless meandering LOL or housework) that goes for 60 minutes solid. That's all. The 60 min. seems to be more important than the 6-7 days a week.
NOW the reason I recommend the 60 6-7 is because that is the amount I think is gonna work for most people, most of the time, even people who are maybe not quite so solid on diet. IT doesn't mean you can't get a girl with less than that (esp. if doing well on diet since they work in concert), but it's not what I believe to be optimal chances of doing so. I have to give a blanket prescription for the whole universe LOL but that doesn't mean that if you fall a little short, your sway is DOOOOOOmed or anything. I feel we've seen good results with as little as 4 days a week of exercise (60 min), it's just that I think your chances improve with more exercise.
Notable exception: Anyone with possible PCO-tendencies or IR needs to exercise even if you can only do moderate. This includes people who are over 40, have a lot of weight to lose, and aren't losing weight on standard LE even when eating only 1200 cals, in addition to people with PCOS. The benefits to your sway of lowering blood sugar levels (by improving insulin response) and weight loss (if needed) outweigh any risks of the mod. exercise. But even for these people, your chance are still going to be better if you aim for the 60 6-7 amount.
My concern with setting the bar low for yourself is that it makes it easier to aim low. If you set the bar low and then fall short, it's really not gonna help. Whereas if you aim for the 60 6-7, and then end up missing a day or two even once a week, then you're still in a range that has seen good results. If you aim for every other day as an example and then Wednesday is a bust then you can end up with Tues and Weds off (and even Thurs since you may have scheduling issues that way) I think it's better to try to exercise daily and then the bad Weds comes along and it's just a day.!!! I am trying out the 1 hour a day every day starting right NOW! On stationary bike. I am such a lazy person. This is going to be hard! But, I am quite overweight so I am hoping this will help me lose a bit. I don't think it will have much effect on my sway because I have been terrible with the L.E. diet and I have not been doing anything long enough for it to sway - but I am tired of being a fatty! Lol

I started in a cross trainer and stationary bike started with low amount and built up to an hour. I then started get lazy and stayed just on the bike for an hour I lost weight on just that and the diet. It is do-able.
like atomic says aim for the higher amounts. I did towards the end I started missing a few extra days here and there as things kept cropping up.x

I did 30 mins on stationary bike, 20 minutes of interval running / walking on treadmill and 10 minutes on the elliptical. I'm pooped!! Haha. I really hope I can keep this up for at least 5 days a week. My husband says he is going to support me. I hope that isn't hot air! Lol
