I know 10 weeks is crazy early and I know potty shots don't mean anything this early. But I did get this photo and I can't seem to get past it. There is no possible way this couldn't be a boy is there? Pic taken at 10+2 weeks. I would love your opinion please ladies

It's an alien with a TAIL at this point! You cannot tell gender at this gestation.

Hun that is your baby's tailbone!!!
The Y chromosome is DORMANT at 10 weeks gestation. Boys and girls are identical (both look like girls) because it's only once the Y "wakes up" and starts making testosterone, that the "clitoris" turns into a penis in boy babies and the "ovaries" turn into testicles. AT 10 weeks those things do not exist on either gender baby. This process takes minimum 2 weeks and really reliably more like 3 1/2 so unless your baby is at minimum, midway thru 12 weeks gestation and more reliably, midway thru 13th, you cannot tell gender.
Additionally, beyond that, you STILL can't tell from a potty shot until more like 15-18.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
