Quick question for Atomic or anyone else who wants to weigh in...I have been swaying pink for nearly 3 months and was ready to have an attempt this month but I've recently convinced hubby to become vegan. He's been having soy daily for about 4-6 weeks but I read that vegan men have more daughters. Does the three month rule apply to him though? Ie he started a week ago so I suppose we will have to wait another 2-3 months to try?
Also, I have 2 months worth of clomid purely for swaying. As I understand, it may sway stronger after the first cycle? Would you ever suggest taking it for a month, not attempting and then TTC the next month? Or do I have that all completely wrong?

No, you guys need to TTC starting right away. Your body is the one that is going to need to get and stay pregnant and diet and stuff, while it's great he's willing to do it, just cannot matter to the same extent it does for you and you've already been on diet 3 months, it's time to pull the trigger here.
I do not want anyone to take Clomid and not TTC. Not TTC in a month you take Clomid is wasting it. What size are the pills?? Could you split them to get 4 months instead??!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

25 can work especially for those of us who are taking it for swaying and not because we are not ovulating. Totally at your discretion!!!

Yes I'd save those for month 3. You could even split only one day's worth of pills from each of your other two months, so do 50 for 4 days, 25 for the last day, then have 50, 50, 50, 25, 25 for that last month.
What is your weight now??!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

yes as long as you start off with the 50s by the time you get to the 25 it will just maintain ya.
I would not have you exercise. That's BMI 18.8 which is practically my cutoff!!! Do not lose any more weight. If you do want to exercise you're gonna have to drastically up cals to compensate!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Oh i dont miss those winter germs!! Listen my GP tried to put me off having a 3rd child just in general!! Lol.. But yes, we could all TTC and then be exposed to some type of virus within early stages of pregnancy. In your case it sounds like you weren't necessarily diagnosed with anything but took antibiotics for precaution?! And wouldn't some doctors prescribe medication when we are pregnant IF we have an infection/virus anyway?! Confused x
PS -Im vegetarian and i stopped weighing foods and in the end i didnt pay too much attention to what i can and cannot eat. Not saying it is the way to go but i didnt want to feel like anything was off limits or i might rebelIts the easiest way for me to handle two meals a day, no breakfast and no snacking etc etc
Good luck xx
Happy with my crew and no more are due xx

But look around you - the majority of everyone walking around out there in the world has a girl and a boy somewhere in the mix and none of them were in true famine conditions. Remember, all this is only in people who were still in good enough condition to actually get and stay pregnant. The people who were in the poorest condition didn't have girls, they didn't get pregnant at ALL.
Your BMI is ALREADY pink friendly. There are no extra credit points for being a skeleton woman!!
Lowering protein and fat and getting more % of those from vegetable sources seem to be FAR more important than limiting calories. Remember, most of us are doing 1500-1800 or even 1800-2000 cals a day and still getting girls. Many others have to even go beyond that and still getting girls.!!! I think Zika has everyone on high alert, but the fact of the matter is, that doctors are constantly pushing people to get the pertussis shot in pregnancy so they can't be thinking it's that bad. Women get pregnant when they're ill all the time, several people on the site have done it!
When I accidentally took vitex in very early pregnancy without realizing it, what my doctor explained to me and has been confirmed to me in subsequent research is, if it's very early and something goes wrong, the pregnancy just ends. The real danger zone for issues is later on, like 6-12 weeks (8-10 is the most likely point according to what I've read) where all the important stuff is forming and the baby is pretty well "stuck" by that point so things can go wrong but not end the pregnancy.
So, obviously you have to live with what you can live with but I think he's being overly conservative.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
