Essnce-- wow! I don't know if I've ever had that checked? I know I've struggled in the past with anemia.. Is that the same thing?

So I rang my gp, to get results from my blood draw taken at cd 21, the receptionist said two were normal, she did not say what they were maybe oestrogen? Progesterone was borderline, so she said the note said probably ovulating but need to get it checked next month to confirm, discuss with gp. Have appt with gp tomorrow morning, I will get the actual numbers tomorrow, so looks like he is going to wait an additional month before doing anything. Anyone have any idea what progesterone should be at cd21? What to go in full armed tomorrow. I am not getting pregnant and now borderline progesterone is that not enough to warrant some sort of action? X

Girlieplease, 6-7 DPO Progesterone should be over 10 with an unmedicated cycle and if medicated is should be over 15. Estrogen should be about 200 per ovulated egg at that point.

Girlieplease did you have the blood taken 6-7 days past ovulation? I can't remember.

Yes it can be very frustrating, Its tough waiting for results when you just want a solution and a plan to focus on. Hopefully you are ovulating on your own.

It was cycle day 21, but I think I ovulated only 5 days before, I could not change the day as I was going away for a few days and did not return until Tuesday, so the earliest I could have got it done was this Wednesday, my period had already come and gone by then! My lp was only 7 days this month!

5 DPO is still fine, I have had it taken at that point in the past too.

Girlie remember that's what I said was going on with my progesterone! i don't know why you have to wait.. Just call the nurse back and tell her that you have other symptoms going on and you want to get pregnant as soon as possible so you would like to try clomid BECAUSE even if you are ovulating at this point it's a weak ovulation with those borderline numbers and you don't want to wait another month just to find out again you are ovulating weakly or not at all when you could be completing your first clomid cycle and possibly pregnant next month!

Just put your foot down with them and say this is what you want to do. They already have the lab work right in front of them saying you aren't ovulating like you could be.. They are gonna drag their feet until you tell them what you want I think

Good luck at docs tomorrow. I always find going into the gp with lots of information can help speed things along.

I'm hopefully getting my results back tomorrow (if they are back) the nurse said depending on results they will tell me o er the phone unless it has a note to say I need to make a doctor's appointment. X
