Our beautiful 6th baby boy was born yesterday at 18 weeks gestation. I'd been to the hospital the day before as I was having cramps and heavy mucus discharge. I was sent home before lunch with instructions to return if I had any bleeding. Literally the minute I walked in the door at home I went to the bathroom and discovered bleeding so back to the hospital I went.
While at the hospital I passed 2 clots and the cramping settled down. I was examined and there was no active bleeding, baby's heartbeat was strong and my cervix appeared closed so they sent me home.
Midnight I woke up vomiting and feverish. By 1am I was having waves of cramps and my husband called an ambulance.
At 3.40am our beautiful boy was born.
