I am having a horribly emotional day today. My anxiety is in full swing. I'm worrying about things that happened 15 years ago. Why do I do this to myself? I know logically that I can't change anything that happened back then, so why do I still think about it? I hate days like this. I got into a huge argument with my sister because she's always so negative. She made my anxiety way worse than it already was and then she tried to turn it around on me that I made her upset? Are you freaking kidding me?! I'm so done right now. I think I'll just avoid her for a few months. I'm so frustrated with everything!

I feel like this today. Frustrated that I have to do everything and keep everyone happy but no one seems that interested in making sure am happy. I had to do a six mile run today after work because I could not face it before I had appt with gp. My husband was home early sitting on his bottom drinking coffee and I so hated having to go out and run. But going to treat myself to a lovely long bath, if my wee ones ever go to sleep, then into bed with my book, going to be good to myself! Sending hugs momma, these days come to us all! X

I just had to Call for blood test results at docs. Apparently results are back but doc hasn't had a chance to look at them yet grrrr!

I have to phone back tomorrow for them x

Girlie remember that's what I said was going on with my progesterone! i don't know why you have to wait.. Just call the nurse back and tell her that you have other symptoms going on and you want to get pregnant as soon as possible so you would like to try clomid BECAUSE even if you are ovulating at this point it's a weak ovulation with those borderline numbers and you don't want to wait another month just to find out again you are ovulating weakly or not at all when you could be completing your first clomid cycle and possibly pregnant next month!

Just put your foot down with them and say this is what you want to do. They already have the lab work right in front of them saying you aren't ovulating like you could be.. They are gonna drag their feet until you tell them what you want I think

I think he is making a lot of assumptions about your cycle without additional testing/ultrasounds. I'm glad he referred you. It seems to me he knows he's out of his depth in this area and that's why he referred you so quickly. I'm glad you'll soon be getting the care you need! in my experience when the opks say you ovulated is when you actually ovulated. My old RE said you typically ovulate the day after the first positive opk. I think you clearly have a lp defect and need the clomid. I think it'll definitely get you your little girl.

Thanks, it probably be a while before anything happens. I agree with you, ovulation is a biological event, they rarely occur without it registering in some way! I love the support in this group, ttc is such a hard process, what would I do without you ladies x

Hi girlie. Just my 2 cents. Only because I have worked for the nhs in a related field and also had problems conceiving my first, eventually fell after 16 month trying, several cd21 bloods, scans and 2 doses of Clomid.

I'm baffled as to why he didn't just prescribe clomid. As this would provide a stronger and more effective ovulation. I hope you will be reffered quickly. They may do a scan to check lining/tubes/ovaries etc. There's alot of things they can check for before ivf route is taken. That should be a last resort especially as you will have to pay for it private. As far as I am aware clomid should cost only the standard prescription charge and any scans should be free of charge too. Even if they suspect a blockage and suggest a lap and due (which I was one cycle away from) it shouldn't cost you. I hope this helps and I've got everything crossed you get sorted. Although I'm still baffled as to why your gp did not prescribe the clomid even for 2 cycles with those progesterone figures but I guess they all must work different. I was given clomid off my gp while waiting for a refferal which thankfully I never needed. All i can suggest is you dig you heels in and go armed with as much information as you can. I'm not sure if you can access the NICE guidance for secondary infertility as this might be worth a read and should help you see the options open to you xxx
