Stress (like swaying can be) ramps up the anxiety.
I know how you feel, when I'm anxious no one can do or say anything right, and the negative nannies are soooo annoying.

Maybe take a few days away from anyone that stresses you out?

Yeah, I know. I think I will take a break from everyone. I just need to relax for a few days.

I'm baffled as to why he didn't just prescribe clomid. As this would provide a stronger and more effective ovulation. I hope you will be reffered quickly. They may do a scan to check lining/tubes/ovaries etc. There's alot of things they can check for before ivf route is taken. That should be a last resort especially as you will have to pay for it private. As far as I am aware clomid should cost only the standard prescription charge and any scans should be free of charge too. Even if they suspect a blockage and suggest a lap and due (which I was one cycle away from) it shouldn't cost you. I hope this helps and I've got everything crossed you get sorted. Although I'm still baffled as to why your gp did not prescribe the clomid even for 2 cycles with those progesterone figures but I guess they all must work different. I was given clomid off my gp while waiting for a refferal which thankfully I never needed. All i can suggest is you dig you heels in and go armed with as much information as you can. I'm not sure if you can access the NICE guidance for secondary infertility as this might be worth a read and should help you see the options open to you xxx
Thanks, I think some gp's are reluctant to prescribe in the uk, maybe you were lucky? I think he does not believe I have a problem and really he is just trying to shut me up. I work for the NHS myself so I should be able to access the NICE guidelines on secondary infertility. Any thoughts on ovulation that would not be indicated by temp spike, picked up by two different ovulation prediction methods and then a few days later all these measures indicate ovulation? Really appreciate the advice! I wish he had not dragged his heels and prescribed clomid but he won't. Least there is time for me to read up on the nice guidelines, have a few more probably failed cycles under my belt, which would maybe mean the Dr I see might act quicker. And you never know, hope springs eternal and maybe I will get pregnant before the appt and won't need it! Thanks again, how you feeling? X

    Hiya
Yeah still in 2ww (11dpo) fx for another few days . Trying to stay positive that my lp has been longer this month with no spotting for a change!
The mid cycle spotting and spotting before AF was really freaking me out.

From what I've read, a blood test done at 8dpo wouldn't show up pregnancy yet anyway so not gonna get my hopes up for that.
It will be Interesting to see what the results do show. This month seems to be more like my regular cycles that I had before we started our attempts 6 months ago, so hopefully it will happen soon for us.

I hope you get an appointment through soon for a specialist, and then turn out to be pregnant before the appointment date so have to cancel it!! xxx

Girlie, make no mistake doctors hate me because of my 'kick ass' attitude LOL...its probably for the best you ARENT like me hahaha.

only thing that makes sense for you in my opinion since your progesterone ISNT low is an FSH problem....

    Luteal Phase Defect Treatment

    Poor Follicle Production
If the pituitary gland does not make enough FSH hormone during the first half of the menstrual cycle (the time between your last period and ovulation), then follicle production may be weak, which can cause a thin uterine lining and an early period. This of course will prohibit fertilization and implantation from taking place.

Which of course means you NEED the clomid unless (and i think its unlikely but i am sure it happens) it resolves on its own before your referral.

We are here for you girlie hoping they get you in sooner and you can be on the way to conceiving your DD...

Secondary infertility can be just as painful as Infertility itself in my opinion because its super frustrating that you have gotten pregnant in the past but for some reason your body isnt allowing it to happen now.

if you dont mind me asking where do you sit at currently for weight and height girlie? if you are underweight that can cause a LPD too and when someone mentions running 6 miles to my lazy butt all i can think about is how fit and possibly skinny they must be because 1 mile tuckers ME out LOL

I think I'm going to attempt this cycle despite potentially being due in May when 2 of my DSs already have birthdays. I don't really want to skip another cycle. I don't see any reason to skip this cycle health wise. I don't even know if I'll actually ovulate this cycle. I guess we'll see what happens!

Hi momamia, remember that some of your anxiety could also be hormone related. When I first got off BC I thought I was losing my mind because my anxiety was off the charts and I couldn't get my brain to just settle down. Normally (on BC) I don't struggle with anxiety or things like that so I felt foreign in my own body. For me it is a side effect of my PCOS and hormone imbalances. All that is so much better for me since getting on Metformin and eating better for PCOS.

Hope you feel better and I am happy you are not taking this cycle off. I am rooting for you.

    Sad Face

    So it's official.
    I am a POAS addict

Did another of the Amazon cheapies today - it's the ultra sensitive one (I know they're bad, but I just couldn't resist)
Did it with first morning wee, and a BFN in like 10 seconds - they say to wait for 5 mins to be sure. But there was not even a faint line and I am 12 days PO now.

I know that I should wait until 14 days, and I will retest on Saturday, but feeling a bit glum.

I have 2 Clear Blue Digitals, but I don't want to waste them as they are expensive.

I'm ok. In my own world as it doesn't feel real and I still have no real signs. I've got gd hovering about now too.

I probably shouldn't (as a responsable human)suggest this but have you thought of ordering clomid yourself? It would have to be from America or China. I can't really reccomend it to be honest as it could put you at risk of ohss, multiples, etc.....and your only supposed to take it for 6 months combined in your whole life. I was not monitored on it at all (other than 21 day bloods) but I think I'm is it's taken in combinations with other drugs and ultrasounds in USA. Just a though if you get nowhere with your refferal but is so some serious research first. Self medicating comes with a whole can of worms of it goes wrong as

As for the ovulation issues I can't really comment other than bodies are strange. It took a change of tactics for us as I think waiting for a true pos/solid smile for us was too late. I think I might ov really quick like as soon as surge starts. My temps are unreliable as im a terrible sleeper but my rise happens same day I get pos opk. I can only suggest doing every 3 days or every 2 (BUT this may sabbotage your pink sway). have you thought of a sa for your hubby? Xxx
