Dissapointing 12w scan

At 11+6 2 different pregnancies babies had very flat straight nubs. I know everyone says at that stage you just can't tell but I do think there is such a thing as too flat. 3 girls later I am very familiar with what a girlie min and potty shot looks like at 12 weeks and I think you are too. I really hope because of everything going on that you just didn't get a good enough look, and so very sorry you didn't get a picture cause how else do we bond with the babies at this point? I don't know where you live exactly baby but if there is a serious deformity I think most places allow termination at any gestation. I think it's just a regular abortion for no medical cause that has 'limits' legally...

Potty shot at 13 weeks is useless, it doesn't show you gender until a few weeks later.

I agree it sounds like an awful experience and I'm so sorry you had to go through all that.

I know nothing I say will make you feel better but I got two of my boys with a very long cutoff!

Thanks. I know its so silly as I hadn't give it a second thought till today. But because they couldn't do the tests it immediately hit me that if theres anything wrong I wont find out till its almost too late. I'm one of them that needs to know. At last my minds took of my gender nerves for now.....

They do medical terminations at any point they are needed.

Thanks atomic. I just don't know how I got a +hpt at 3dpo? That's what's baffling me if what they say is right and I didn't o till CD 21 odd.

I realise they do medical terminations at any point but due to the fact my cervix is basically tight shut and the angle and severe retroverted womb doesn't help (beleive me nobody can get in I've had to have local anasthetic for smears and after 3 attempts they told me I can't have a coil) im not sure what would happen as I probably couldnt have a d and c and medical management wouldn't work if I can't pass anything. I've had 3 sections and the thought of open surgery for something like that's a horrific thought. Its alot of what iffs I'm trying to remain calm haha and failing.....xxxx

Something is not adding up, I can't say from here if you Oed earlier or if they are wrong with their scan. No one can get a positive pregnancy test at 3 DPO.

Without going into detail here, the procedures are different if the baby is not viable. They have ways of doing the terminations that will open your cervix and I know people who have had 4 and 5 sections that had terminations vaginally. I think you should try to not go to the worst case scenario I know it's hard not to, but the odds are very good that everything is ok.
