No worries well I'm off to bed for some much needed sleep after an almost sleepless night last night and staying up till midnight tonight to give medication my poor little ds2 has been quite ill, bad enough to take him to A&E this afternoon but hopefully through the worst of it. Near broke my heart seeing him like that

I hope your little guy gets better soon! There's nothing worse than when your babies get sick and there is nothing that helps them much [emoji20]!

My DS3 is sick with his first cold [emoji20]. I too didn't sleep well last night. I finally gave up trying to soothe him in his crib, and I let him sleep upright on me in our big recliner. He was able to breathe better finally. Poor guy!

Thank you ladies! I need to somehow try and get a urine sample, any ideas? He's not toilet trained yet but wants his nappy changed immediately after number 2. I plan on taking his nappy off later when its full warmth of day in hopes he will want a nappy when he needs to wee and I can wait it out. Waited on the couch with him for ages last night while he slept with his nappy open and my hand at the ready but no such luck lol

He's actually just having a decent sized bottle so I may even give it 20 minutes then see if I can get to sit on the toilet.....

My oldest had some kidney problems that led to recurrent UTIs. They always gave us this special bag that taped around his genitals to catch it. Although there were a few times he had to be cath'd, and honestly that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Foxtrotmama do you think this is enough for a strip test. They gave me no other option including a bag like you are saying. I'm so traumitised from today my ds has held his wee for hours and hours because I wouldn't put a nappy on him no matter how much he screamed now his hurting I'm sure. He did one small wee just before and this was all I managed to get because of course he did it during the 5 seconds I got my other child a drink. I'm so frustrated and on the brink of tears. I have followed a two year nappyless toddler around all day staring at his penis waiting to get a sample all while feeling like a shit mother because I have to get the sample and cant give in to him as much as I want too .

Wow pbn3 l'm so sorry for you and your little guy. We received the little plastic bag they taped over so l don't think l can help a lot but l know that having them hear rushing water and even washing their hands in running water may help. Lots of luck there and may health be on its way soon <3

XXforhubby and Pbn3, I'm sorry to hear that your little ones are sick.

Af showed up today. I'm a little disappointed, but I wasn't really expecting a bfp, because we had our attempt too soon and I ovulated late. Should be back in another 2ww in a couple weeks.
