LE on holiday - advice please

Hello ladies, I need your help. I'm not sure what to do about LE and exercise when we go away. We're heading from the UK to California for a "holiday" while we investigate the possibility of relocation. (Apologies for the ridiculously detailed post. I am aware that all of this is guesswork as my next cycle could be back to 29 days but I doubt it)

    1. I think we've missed this month due to DH being away at ovulation again!
    2. My cycles seem to elongate to 36-44 days when I'm on the LE diet so my next fertile window is likely to be 16th-20th November.
    3. DS2 and DS3 are both August birthdays, two days apart so DH and I both agree that we don't want to conceive in November AGAIN!
    4. Therefore the following fertile window is likely to be say 31st Dec-4th January or thereabouts, ie 12 weeks away.

So if I relax my diet and exercise regime for the last week of October, will I regret it? I can't see that I'll have the time to do the daily cardio but I guess I'll be pretty active. Diet-wise I think my husband's boss is going to want to take us to some nice restaurants as he's trying to sell me the idea of moving out there. And I'm a huge foodie! I could stick to veggie and just choose low fat options but not religiously log all my food on MFP. Relax a bit. I'm wary of regretting it if we have another boy. I've been doing really well on the LE diet since 6th June, so 19 weeks.

What do you think? I know cheats are ok. I've had a cheat day once a week (mainly on cals rather than nutrition though) but I'm worried that 11 days it too long a cheat!

You've been on it so long now that I can't see how relaxing your sway a bit for just a week would really set you back. Plus you'd have a while after to regroup before you try. I say go for it and don't stress!

That's how I'm thinking too but I'm not great at following something half-heartedly. I'm worried I'll go crazy with food and then regret it! Burger and fries followed by pizza and icecream etc etc!

You have been doing it so long, I think you will be okay to have a break for a week. I am going on vacation at the end of October for a week and I am bound to gain a couple pounds when gone, but we are not taking a break from TTC so I have to be a bit more careful.

While in Cali go to a restaurant called Spaghetti Bender in Newport Beach. Best Italian food around and worth the cheat for sure. Have fun here in California.

I'm the same, it's probably just water though ?

    Have a fab time

If you're in LA, there's a place called Crossroads (Melrose Av), that does vegan food....their 'chicken'& waffles omg drooool, so worth a splurge and it's not got any dairy, egg, or meat in it.
I'm not sure how they do it, probably witchcraft

To write you, as you wrote us, here are my advices :
    1. DTD every month, dont skip any! Do you want another boy?
I'm not a chinese calendar girl, but what if your girl needs to be a summer baby as well? Do you preffer an autumn/winter boy or a summer girl ? Just asking...
    2. I catched LE diet during holidays(includding Christmas/New Year and a Miami holiday), it was awful but everything I wanted to eat was "if I eat this, will probably be a boy, so I better not" ))))
I didnt consume anything colored, no junk food at all, I preffer more low cheese with bread and white vegetables then any of their meals(the USA food sucks). Dont starve, this will sure take you to eating junk, because you dont have patience to wait for the right food.
I had 1 cheat in the weekend. A big cheat, I mean, for example (1 french fries with fat cheese on top and 1 large cake from Cheescake factory) or a whole avocado rolls place from CF...which are 1200 kcal..? As far as I remember.
At the nice restaurants, I was askig only pasta with white mushrooms in olive oil. A sprinkle of parmesan on top for taste and thats it! No sauces, no other junks....I know it sounds awfull, but just bare, and you will see your girls worths every bite of zuchini!
