I have had excruciating pain last night, the same as when my corpus luteum burst.
Thought I'd do a test anyway, and am I mad or is there a faint line?
I am guessing that the line will fade now, as there won't be any progesterone to sustain a pregnancy if the corpus luteum has burst.

Mrs sparlkes that is def a line no doubt.... any pain associated atm surely cant mean the same thing
I would try and keep positive and stress as little as possible until you can test next. I wont say how excited I am for you right now just a small woohoo whisper in case. Hang in there and stay strong and lets hope and pray for a stronger line tomorrow xxoo

Mrs sparkles l really really hope that you get good news!! Big prayers your way.
Brecooper congrats and hope you get your boy!!
We don't have those frer tests in my country, l can only test from day of first af due, l think or go to my doctor for an hcg test for an exact 'age'.
I will look into buying those online.

Thank you ladies.
I shall try and stay positive
I am going to wait a couple of days and test with a FRER but I'm not sure how sensitive they are.
The test strip is a one step 10mIU/ml so might show before the FRER
What do you think ?
This is what the website that I got them from says
These strip tests are at a sensitivity of 10miu and work to an accuracy level of 99%. They can be used up to 6 days earlier than a standard pregnancy test kit.
They are 2.5mm wide but are the same quality (just thinner) as our best selling NHS tests that are wider (3.5mm).

Mrssparkles I've read that frers can pick up levels as low as 6.5mui. They are by far the most accurate early detection hpts that I know of that are on the market.

I can see the line
If you get that on a cheapie then a frer should show a line. I'm not sure why you are worried about the copus luteum busting as sometimes I think you can get a cyst that busts around the same time but it will still produce progesterone.
If you are worried then once you get a stronger bfp you could get your hcg and progesterone tested. With this pregnancy my progesterone was only 1.9 on 16dpo and then 2.9 on 18dpo. I was put on progesterone for the first trimester but I think my body really didn't think I was pregnant at first as I got my normal AF.

It's only as this happened before, and it was the same pain.
The nurse said that it was the CL bursting, and I think she said baby needs it for 10 weeks ?
If I get a BFP Wednesday i will refer myself to the EPU, they said I can self refer from 6 weeks as I had an ectopic, but may ask if progesterone is an option. Thanks for the tip !
I just did another cheapie Pbn3, and it was a faint line again.
When I get home I have a FRER there, as I am away till Wed, and none of the chemists here do them grrrr.
