With my 3rd son I was taking it orally trying to induce labor and I ended up having a super fast, super violent labor and I had tons and tons of small red blood clots in my amniotic fluid. The nurses had never seen anything like it and they speculated I may have been starting to have a placental abruption during labor. Fast forward a few years now and I have seen a lot of people have bleeding and bruising while taking it and it is known to be a blood thinner. I am really sensitive to blood thinners (can't even take aspirin at all) and I think it may have caused the bleeding. So that coupled with recent concerns from some midwives that I've read has caused me to only recommend it vaginally now.
I took it in my last pregnancy at 38 weeks orally and vaginally , and it cause me to slightly labour for 3 days , the third day I gave birth finally , after 14 hours of slow labour
