Serenity how did your scan go ?

Mine was really good, actually measuring 3 days ahead of what they said, so baby has caught up in size.
So if anyone has the baby measuring small thing, just know that it can catch up.
Baby was wriggling a bit, and such a strong heartbeat.

Had 5 specialists looking at my hives/rash, and no one can figure it out.
I've had to start on steroid which aren't recommended in pregnancy, as they've been shown to cause fetal abnormalities in animal studies.
Scary, but is only until Thursday, hopefully it will cure it !

Oh and I got my due date today 21st of June !

Weighed today an a total of 5lb gain
My Mum has two girls, and she put on loads with both, and had acne !

Great news about baby Sparkles, but sorry they couldn't figure out the hives. Hopefully the meds help you and don't cause any issues for baby.

I am hoping they're not just 'girly symptoms'... cuz we swayed blue I had acne with all the pregnancies pretty bad with DD but just minor right now. I only gained a max of 30lbs with each girl.

So glad your scan went well, Mrs. Sparkles! Mine did too: there is ONE baby, with a heartbeat, on board. I'm confused as to why I've gained so much weight, and I've lost trust in my intuition, but I'm just so glad there was someone alive in there that I'm trying to let go of the rest. I did lose quite a bit of weight while swaying (about 20 lbs), so maybe my body is just making it up? I'm hoping this is my little girl, but I'll be fine with it either way - I'm very relieved not to be having twins, to be honest.

Cautiously jumping on this thread. I am DPO 11 today and got my first faint bfp yesterday!
Hoping this is my sticky bean!!
EDD at this point is July 28th however usually after my first ultrasound they change it to a week earlier...

Yeah Robin!! Glad you are joining us. Was your test darker today? I am so excited to have more ladies joining us!

It is funny how some doctors change due dates. I asked my doc about that and he said that he doesn't like to change dates and he will go off my last period almost all the time and he doesn't trust if an early ultrasound shows a different measurement. Maybe it depends on if a lady knows or doesn't know her true first day of last period.

Yes it was a touch darker today!
I don't know why they change the dates either bc I know exactly when I ovulate etc. I think it's bc my babies are usually bigger in size.. however I always go over term bc they change the original date! 😂

Happy to hear your scan went well MrsSparkles. I think we will be due-buddies bc mine is also June 21.
I have a scan and blood test (Panorama) booked for Monday evening when I will be 9 wks 2 days.
Symptoms has reduced. Not so much nausea as last week, so guess my body has ajusted to the hormones. Am eating a lot to keep nausea away, specially full fat dairy.

Any of you craving special food?

Robin - So good to have you in this thread, congratulations on your BFP.
It's so silly that they don't go off our last periods, if they had with mine it would have been less of a worry lol

Do you plan to have baby naturally ? I think I'm going to have a c-section, so might be a few days early for me
