Atomic mentioned that it's better to get more protein even if you go over on the sodium - sodium is the least important nutrient to watch.

I'm not having a great day today. Feeling depressed/stressed so have already pigged on 3 jam doughnuts with my lunch... I think this might be our only month swaying before we stop until after Christmas - we seem to have less money coming in since I returned from maternity leave than I thought, and I honestly don't know how we'd cope financially if we conceived now as we would need a bit more time to save up some money... so I think rather than waste my 8 weeks of dieting we'll have one go at it and if fate says now is the time we won't complain, but after this cycle I'll need to break. Also weighed myself after lunch and fully clothed I was only 100lbs so I'm slimmer than I want to be, even though my BMI is still 19.8 so not officially underweight yet.

rainbowflower- you are teeny! How tall are you?

Since I started swaying six weeks ago, I've lost ten pounds. My BMI is currently 21 and I currently weigh 126 (I'm 5' 5").

I'm definitely going to eat more today and look for ways to get more protein.

Yes, I imagine to someone not familiar with the candy, swedish fish could make you think of pickled herring or something like that. Yuck!

Oh Squamgirl LOL! I also visualized some pickled fish and thinking wow fish everyday, the things we do when we are so desperate for our Gd and I was saying to myself I have to get me some of those. Too funny, I'm eating yummy Lolly empty calories all the time.

All of these swedish fish/pickled herring comments are cracking me up

I was incorrect when I stated that swedish fish have no sodium. They have some, but not much. Regardless, they're empty calories.

For more empty calorie fun, today I bought: mentos, skittles, and jolly ranchers.
