Tfahn, it looks like you haven't ovulated yet. I would keep having attempts, because it looks like you may be finally getting ready to ovulate.

This can happen sometimes- your body gears up to ovulate but doesn't until later on. Sometimes opks don't work when this happens because the LH surge isn't strong enough to be detected the second time around. It doesn't need to be because the first one "ripened" things.

Thanks XX, I will try to get an attempt in tonight. But how did I have higher temps that look like post o temps for me if I didn't O? I think that is the part that's confusing and is throwing me off. Either way I'll get back on the BD wagon, hopefully its not to late if I am indeed Ovulating soon.

This happens because the follicle didn't release the egg and is large, like post-O range. The body will still produce small amounts of progesterone, but will begin to stop because now the egg is able to be released. I know it may be confusing, but the sustained temp rise for a few days is your bodies response to the end of the LH surge. Only the follicle will release the egg when conditions are just right. If not, then it will wait for the progesterone to go back down to finally release the egg. Some people get a second LH surge at this time and some do not.

So confused with this cycle: 3 Lower temps in a row with no AF yet so FF took away my crosshairs this morning. I had EWCM this morning too but a took OPK's Monday and today and they were both negative. At this point I don't know what to expect, O or AF

I'm having a similar situation this month. I typically O CD 13, but can't be sure which day this month. We've continued to BD just in case...but I could use a break. Here's my chart (hope you can see it)


I was googling yesterday trying to figure out what's going on. I believe XX is correct. FX it's a good sign.

Thanks XX and MeanVeggieGal, I guess the 3 weeks on Birth control pills made my body all wacky! I wish I knew I didn't ovulate so I would have continued to BD. So fingers crossed tonight's BD is not to late to catch any eggs in case I already ovulated.

My chart is looking like this as well guys. I am not sure but I think I missed ovulation this month.
I am DPO 13 and had negitive test this morning on cheapie so I'm waiting for AF now. 😐

Just saw the psychic who predicted my daughter today... she thinks I'll get pregnant with a boy in tge next 2 months.She even saw the chemical pregnancy. Ugh..
Another one I saw two months ago saw girl. I'm kinda wishing I never went today bc I've lost faith in my sway now more than ever. Having said that ... I really hope she's wrong! But she's been right with SOO much before.

Tfahn and MeanVeggieGal are you guys swaying boy or girl? I notice alot of BDing and I am considering doing more next month.

Tfahn - you are welcome. I agree that BC pills may be the culprit. AFM - I've been playing around with my hormone levels using herbs to balance my estrogen & progesterone (spotting) and I believe that's why my chart is shaped this way. I'm hoping to figure out my dosage by my next cycle.

Robin - I was using SMEP for the last couple of months and missing days. This cycle I figured we'd just BD until CM dries up. I'm swaying boy so I figured "why not?" Fx your sway will still work!!

Well AF came last evening, so I guess I really did ovulate and only had a short 8 or 9 day LP. Good luck to everyone still trying this month. Guess I'll be moving on to the January boards.
