Tech said Boy, But then said Girl

I was 11 weeks exactly based on my last period but Baby measured 12 weeks 1 day. From one angle tech said "oh thats a big protrusion, I think its a boy" But then when she looked at it from the potty shot angle she changed her mind and thought maybe a girl. I only have the nub shots. 1 image shows the "big protrusion" she was talking about. The other one is the other shot she got. I've had pretty mixed guesses on other websites: Probably 60% say its a Boy and 40% its a Girl. Thoughts? Could it still go either way? I don't think the one with the big protrusion looks stacked like my other boy's nub shots have (this is baby #5, my other boys were CLEARLY boys) But I've had some say the ultrasound was turned up too high making the contrast to bright and throwing off the image. I look at it and see Girl angle, it seems pretty lined up with spine. No? THANKS!!

Tricky. Leaning boy, but 12+1 is early, so you never know. How many boys do you have already?

I see what you're saying but the nub looks quite short and thick which would suggest boy, despite the angle - my youngest boy's nub was flat but short and quite thick x

ohhh! ok! that makes sense. i know the angle was hard, so i was wondering what other factors there were for going one way or the other. thanks!!

I think it is too early for the tech to make guesses, especially from a potty shot. They should know it's not accurate this early.

The shots you have are a bit tricky and I think could go either way at this point.

thanks! yah i don't think she was very experienced. your post makes complete sense! i'm for sure on my dates, so i know baby was max 11 weeks 5 days even though it measured big. i'll stick to it being still 50/50 or maybe 60/40 for boy lol

It's too early to be guessing anyway. Especially not on a potty shot. I think you're still 50-50.
