Thanks for the advice! I realized that I'm going about this all wrong! I was going with the idea that since the boys swim faster, but don't last as long, the boy ammo would hopefully be gone by O, leaving some pink ammo. So that doesn't work? Definitely rethinking this & going to go buy an OPK today. This is my 2nd month ttc, but first time swaying. Slightly discouraged (& I know I shouldn't be) b/c I got pregnant immediately with both DS. Desperately want a DD this time! I have been on the LE diet since last June & staying away from foods that I think are boy friendly. I was taking vitex, but stopped b/c I read that it could make ttc difficult. Maybe these will help: Sick with a cold, small dose of Zoloft for anxiety (wasn't on it for either DS), using sylk (DH doesn't like it)....so we shall see. FX for pink...fx for pink for all of you as well kc foxtrot shann! Are you swaying pbn?

I will also join you lovely ladies as ive just had my first smiley flashing face so should have a solid face by the weekend..would love to hold out until sunday for the new moon but i think il o before that.. we can all be nervous and excited together �� lots of baby dust to all of us x

Lolabelle, the whole boy sperm swims faster/girl sperm lasts longer theory has been disproven.

Yes, when it was studied with modern technology unfortunately Dr. Shettles was proven entirely wrong. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/sway...m-y-sperm.html

Lola - I would stop using the Sylk if DH does not like it. No point in making it more difficult. For you, I would suggest going with E4D or the +OPK attempts as well. Yes, as fox has mentioned, Shettles has been disproven.

I believe I am 2 dpo as my temps have gone up and everything else is pointing to it as well. And I already heafve this crazy urge to POAS!!! Oh man will it be a LONG tww if this keeps up. Oh my.

Thanks everyone, it's making sense now...I'm def a newbie lol. Very interesting read! Hope it's not too late to change my approach this time! So basically need to take a break from BD for a few days, then BD once at pos OPK. On a new mission now. Exciting you are on your tww shann...understand trying to resist that POAS urge ugh!

One attempt in the fertile window is definitely getting the best results for pink. That's probably why things like a cutoff seem to sway, because with a cutoff you'll only get one attempt. Of course with a cut off it takes longer to conceive.

@lola no I'm not swaying anymore but I have become a vegetarian now and have been for probably 6 weeks now. I was on le diet for 6 months in 2015 then on/off it again during 2016. I am taking clomid (prescribed) so I'm hoping these 'pink' things will help sway but I'm ok either way, just want my sticky bfp

I feel I might o on cd13 which is awesome for fitting in with hubbys night shifts coming up. Cant wait to do my opk today!!! Really hope its near positive so I get a pos opk on Friday..... I've been feeling ovary twinges and my bbs were sore this morning so fx!! Will update after todays opk
