Please comment on my girl sway!

    Hi all,

Hubby and I are trying to sway for a girl after three boys. I'm 40 he is 45. He comes from a family of 4 boys. I'm an only child. I will be doing Clomid and Ericsson method in Modesto California. I know Ericsson is not proven to work but it makes me feel better that I took the extra step. I'm drinking 3 coffees a day with Aspertame. He is taking Vitamin C and Olive leaf extract.

I'm also trying to lose weight. I can't eat carbs, makes me so hungry and cant' lose weight. I am eating lean protein and green veggies such as green beans or broccoli. Loosing about 1 lbs a week. Not eating beef. No tea. Drinking peppermint and raspberry tea only. No dairy at all. Eating protein bars to be less hungry, it works to lose weight but I worry they have dairy. Any protein shakes you know of that are girl sway friendly? Almased perhaps since I has soy? I am also taking fider at night the Liver Cleanse one from Trader Joe, it also has peppermint in it.

Anything else to add to this? Would the purchase custom sway have more info than the above or have I covered it? Please give me any input you can think of. We will do the IUI and Ericsson in about 7 weeks.

    Thank you so much!

There's a ton of protein shakes out there with sucralose, fyi.

When you say raspberry tea, do you mean straight raspberry or red raspberry leaf? I thought the latter was a boy sway element? Although I know it's never one thing that contributes to a sway and that can help fertility.
I'm unfamiliar with Vitamin C swaying if DH takes it one way or the other. Is that just for his health?

I was going to ask for your calorie count, but if you're losing 1 lb a week with what you're eating, you're probably in good girl territory

    Hi Panther,

I mean raspberry leaf tea. I thought DH is supposed to take Vit C for a girl sway but I may be wrong. I ate a ton of dairy and took a ton of prenatals with my boys so trying to do the opposite with this sway. Also working out 5 times a week and walking. I'm 5 10 and 165 lbs so loosing about 1 to 2 lbs a week. Thank you so much for the info! I really appreciate it!

    Thank you,
    Portia

PLEASE do not drink peppermint and RRLT when doing Clomid. It makes the Clomid not work right and may lower your odds of success.

Dairy within limits of LE Diet range are fine.

You should not drink/eat much soy when on Clomid, no more than 2-3 servings a week. Most protein shakes are highly fortified with nutrients and I do not recommend them for TTC a girl.

"Cleanses" are not fiber. "cleanses" nearly always have fiber + herbal ingredients that make you poop a lot (and the Trader Joe's is no exception). This tricks people into thinking they are being "cleansed" when really, they're just pooping a lot. Please use fiber only with no additional ingredients. Some of the stuff in the Trader Joe's will interact with Clomid, some of it sways blue, some of it will lower your chances of conception, and the rest of it is simply laxatives that make you potty a lot. Please discontinue this right away.

At 5-10 you need to be VERY careful about your weight loss. You need more weight than shorter people do (perhaps obviously) Please don't drop below BMI 18.5 under any circumstances, and once you get to BMI 21, you need to stop losing weight and try to hold steady where you are.

Some believe that OLE and Vit. C combined is pink friendly. I generally only use OLE since I am wary of Vit. C boosting sperm health too much. Your call to make

Thank you ladies! I really appreciate all the info. Will switch to regular fiber. I will start the clomid in a few weeks so these are good changes to make now. I'm having mid cycle spotting, any idea what hormone imbalance may cause that? Never had a problem getting pregnant, always on the first try or avoiding pregnancy if that info helps. Does mid cycle spotting prevent us from getting pregnant? Huge thank you for the info

Is the spotting new?? If so I'd lay odds on the pep tea.

The Clomid will likely prevent the spotting. It shouldn't prevent pregnancy though if it does happen.

Thank you so much for all the replies! I used to have the mid cycle spotting a few times a year and it seems to be every months now any ideas as to what hormones cause it and if it helps or works agains pink sway? I would think the blood would cause a more basic vaginal PH swaying more blue

    Low estrogen, should sway pink.

pH has really not seemed to pan out for us. We had scads of oppposites with it going every possible direction and after getting a boy with pH of 4.5 testing 2-3 times a day, it became very tough for me to believe it.

Also, are you not the gal doing IUI? At the least you'd avoid anything vaginal and go right to the uterus. No way for the sperm to even come into contact with it.
