    Due June/July/August 2017 (2)

No itchy nipples here neither, but my breasts have been tender since beginning of this pregnancy. And they have grown to doble size!
Like you GirlieC I also think this takes forever. I am week 29 now so also in my third trimester [emoji120][emoji4]. Nausea has returned and I feel like a whale. I gained 17 kilo! My DH is also not so nice at the moment. He feels guilt because he dosen't feel the same exitement as I do and is stressing and worrying about how we can handle a fourth child workwise, moneywise and as a family. He think life right now is more than enough work. I hope his worries disapear the moment he hold his daughter.

GirlieCat, you shouldn't leak enough colostrum to where it would go through your bra, so nothing to worry about lol. I haven't heard that about going over with your first...I had the opposite! Lol Had DS1 at 36+2 weeks, DS2 at 38w, DS3 at 39+6w and DS4 at 40+6 weeks ugh! Really really hoping I don't go over with this one..this pregnancy has seriously sucked the whole time!

29+2 now. Had midwives appt yesterday. Bub growing nicely, heart rate good. Glucose test and bloodwork normal. Thank goodness. Will be so glad when she's finally here and I don't feel like sh*t anymore

What is it with these girl pregancies? Maybe there is some truth about feeling like shit when carrying girls. I heard this from many. Could it be the massive amount of girl hormones in your body?

    Mummyof4boys & Kelbear - Such awesome pictures !
Thank you for sharing them with us.

Girliecat - Not leaking yet, although sometimes I wake up with a little bit of 'crust' on my nipples (That sounds so gross!) which I googled and they said it is colosturm.

All my family know now, my Grandpa cried and told me my Nana had sent the baby down from heaven (which made me cry too).

We went to see the consultant to have a growth scan - 28 weeks and buba is 2.1lbs which I think is good.
Consultant thinks I need constant monitoring as she suspects baby will get into distress at home birth ....she thinks I may develop placental insufficiency because of medication.
Hearing that my idea of the perfect birth, could result in a tragedy is really overwhelming.

Try not to worry too much about the birth MrsSparkles, hopefully all will go as you hope.
I had borderline results with my gestational diabetes test with my first pregnancy and had to change my diet so I understand how challenging that can be girliecat, I found it got easier as I got used to it so I hope you find the same. I also found that if I did have a treat or more in one meal than I should have that a 20 min walk helped keep my blood sugar levels within range. With a change in diet and a small amount of walking (20-30 mins once or twice a day) I was able to keep everything in range and Bub was not adversely affected and was a good weight and had no blood sugar issues at birth. I hope it gets easier for you and you don't stress about it too much. You might also find that you put on less weight/gain slower with your changed diet as I put on 8 kg in first 2 trimesters then only 3 1/2 kg in the last trimester once I had to change my diet. Try not to stress about it too much.

Thanks Kelbear, I'll try not to worry.

How is everyone doing on shopping ?
We have the pram, crib, and I think enough clothes for newborn age, still adding to the 0-3 month pile.
My Dad is in the USA next week, so he's going to Carters, and Target for me.....I know most Americans will probably think ewwwww. But seriously I LOVE Target, it's a novelty for me :blue cheer:
Anyone have any recommendations for cute baby clothes (in the USA), so I can get him to stop by there.

Kelbear, I totally agree that the new diet will help with weight control because I literally feel like I am on a weight loss diet with the way I am eating more protein and less sugars. Also switched to brown rice, wheat pasta and whole grain breads. I am getting used to it, but I do miss my morning kids cereal...which doc said to cut down to just once or twice a week instead of daily. I am very weight conscious but I am actually under the normal weight gain because of it. I am 28 weeks and have only gained 11 pounds (5 kg) so the new food recommendations are really only about controlling sugars and not weight.

Sparkles, you made me laugh because I live about 4 minutes from Target and almost never shop there, but I did do my baby registry there since others shop there and they have a good baby section. If you like Carter's brand, I would skip going to a carters store and instead go to a store called Kohl's who carries carter brand but cheaper. Avoid Babies R us- they are way over priced compared to Target and Kohl's. I personally like Walmart for baby clothes but that is largely a cost thing.

We bought a crib yesterday from someone selling a new one they never used. I got it 50% off the retail price. That is all I have bought. My mom and sis have bought her lots of clothes, but I haven't personally bought anything. Hoping to find a dresser for her room soon, then we will paint and slowly start putting the nursery together. We are a long way from being ready but that has to do with waiting for baby shower in May to see if I get the important items.

Thanks for the tips, I am going to check out Kohls and Walmart websites after I post.

I bought a crib used too...well it was pretty immaculate. Their baby had grown out of it really quick, so I got a brand new mattress to fit it.
All up for bargains There's no point spending a ton of money on things that are going to be used for only a year or less.

I've bought almost nothing for the baby because my mum has spent so much on clothes and baby gear - all pink and mostly with cats all over them LOL! she's a crazy cat lady and determined to brainwash my kids haha. I think the only thing left to get is a new car capsule and maybe a Moses basket. Although, if she's anything like her brothers, she will be a crappy sleeper and I'll just end up mostly babywearing. Got a nice stash of baby carriers ready lol
