Hi Boywish,
So end of the suspense for you then – it’s not super long a LP but if your cycles are lengthening that in itself is a good thing!if your progesterone was good then I wouldn't worry too much - even in perfectly fertile woemn there are "off" cycles (anovulatory etc).
Hoping your next cycle gives you that blue BFP ^^
Am still unsure about this cycle so will see if I join you soon! my temps could drop (still only 7dpo)- sometimes I think I night be pregnant and others – shrug it away..
The funny thing is on Thursday, my husband picked up the kids from daycare – and he told me that my eldest’s kindy teacher had asked him if I was pregnant – to which he say “erm, not that I am aware, why?” – my daughter had told her and everyone that her mummy was going to hospital to have a baby lol
One of her besties is having a baby sister or borther so that might play a role too – though when I fell pregnant with her sister, she was barely 18 m.o and before I had even taken a test, or mentioned babies to her, she came to me one morning and patted my belly and said “baby, baby” – so am to see if M the patented pregnancy test has done it again haha!

Yeah, my endo was the one at my 6 month postpartum appointment who was telling me, "I see you having lots of kids. Ready to go again?" And we chalked up the first loss to the standard odds of miscarriage. After the second one, we checked levels and realized what the issue was (he had brought my dose down too low after pregnancy and we took for granted that my hypo symptoms were just normal new mom stuff).
The first pregnancy after DD was a complete surprise -- I literally got pregnant from precum, because we were doing a VERY conservative pulling out plus I was EBF and my midwife felt confident I was having anovulatory cyces getting my period back so soon. Lol, surprise!
The second was more of a, "Ok, it's been a full cycle after the miscarriage, it'll be 6 months, let's be more loosey goosey." Definitely my desire to get cracking, but DH DOES want them done before 40, and he's coming up on 37, so it's pretty equal.
Even before seeing your post, we had talked -- he's fine to go again, he just didn't want to bring it up apparently until my body was ready to go again. But he also apparently combined both miscarriages in his memory which speaks to his level of paying attention -_-

@TP – I guess the positive is that you are a very fertile couple, and that is one less hurdle to worry about. Especially since you seem to both be on the same page and wanting #2 ^^
It’s funny my DH, like yours, wants us to be done before he is 40 (midlife crisis worries? :P) – which is June next year, so we are running after time – I want to be done by 35 which is in 3 years but have to compromise for him too so let’s hope bub comes along soon haha
Re him "combining" both your losses in his mind - blah, men, 'nough said ^^
Now that you know what the underlying issue was, and are working with your endocrinologist to get that under control, you’ll be expecting that blue bundle in no time -FX!

When are you hoping to start TTC again panther? Has your doctor given a rough indication when he thinks you'll be all good to go again? (Sounds like you're a machine when I put it that way! Hahahaha!)

@LMSM: thank you!! Haha, I have to wonder if it's some sort of midlife crisis thing too. My DH rounds himself up ton50 sometimes! :eyeroll: Your positivity is so appreciated!
DD: probably within the next month or two. The TSH being stable was a big deal to my endo, so hopefully the T4 will be solid by the time we try. Part of me dreams of just going for it in April, but I'm thinking a May/June attempt sounds like a reality. It's funny I'll be TTC close to a year afterall instead of the ASAP I hoped to do right after DD's birth. I won't be waiting until 18 months postpartum though. I thinj my nervousness is stupidly on the swaying months -- we'd be in "girl months," even though I can't even count how many February and March boys and men I know!

I have booked an appointment for next month. It kind of scares me. This is completely new to me, it's out of my control which freaks me out. I keep myself busy but peopke asking me if I am already pregnant stress me more out lol. As if I have a deadline.
What if I start ttc actively and fully from now on by bd'ing every 2/3 days and use the opk (do the 3 attempts in the fertile window) even though there is no sign of AF? Is there any difference in the quality of the eggs? Might sound stupid but I have no great knowledge regarding this. It's a new area for me.

Sorry meoab I don't have any answers for you there. Definitely talk to your doctor and see what they say.
As for my first attempt - I got a raging (darker than the control line) positive opk with my fmu. We had already had an attempt yesterday evening but did an attempt this morning and we'll do another one tonight. Fingers crossed I manage to catch the egg and we have a blue oneDDFeb 2016

@ TP: can’ t remember, and am sure you might have mentioned already – is your DD fully weaned from BFing? In any event, you seem to have been swaying since pregnant with her, so am sure no timing will be make or break with such a strong blue sway! ^^
@meoab – not too sure either – without a cycle it’s hard to work out what is happening when : could you wait until you have seen your Dr and worked out a way to get your cycle back before you owrry about the rest (as I mentioned progesterone is usually very effective at getting AF coming back)
@ DD – ooh exciting – FX!
Tell us how you go
So AF arrived today – here comes our last cycle before officially TTC (might push it another cycle, depending on when this one ends) - and hopefully we can be successful pretty quickly – so am now officially starting my full on sway
My luteal phase is getting back to an acceptable level – got 13 dpo this cycle, so very happy about that – maybe the pre-sway diet has helped (along with the weaning DD2)? Plus for the 1st time in a long time I actually started AF in the morning rather than late at night – which is rather pleasant , not having to try to sleep with the pain! ^^Lucky Mummy to 4 sweet divas (2013) (2015) (2018) (2021) and 1 sweet boy (2024) that completed our family
