The BD part is the only thing that concerns me about the boy sway. Think mostly because it's one part that ultimately is out of my control. DP has been known to have a bit of performance anxiety when we are ttc, no issues any other time so have definitely decided to keep the opk part to myself. We have 2 kids under 3 so we are probably only averaging 1-2 BD sessions a week also so just finding time to increase to every other day will be tricky but fun. I'd try and get another attempt in, given BD attempts isn't everything, especially if you're feeling confident with your diet.

thanks everyone for talking me off the ledge. I'm not going to stress about it and focus on getting another attempt tonight.

Now on the computer – I can see the pic better: definitely looks positive! it could be you won’t ovulate until CD12 ish – depending on when the surge actually started (you could have caught it just as LH started to surge) – so not that weird… especially if you usually ovulate around CD14. The diet may have helped with it too?
Definitely don’t try to cram in 2 attempts especially if hubby has had performance anxiety – like Cosmosis said, one at night then one the next morning if possible…
If you have changed your BD regime just recently – he probably feels pressured to perform regardless of whether you tell him it’s attempt time or not : that’s why we have gradually increased our BD to be aligned with the pattern I want for when we start TTC soon. He won’t feel “surprised” that I suddenly am all over him – when I weaned almost 2 months ago now, my libido got waaay better anyways so not an issue to up the ante so to speak – so maybe if this month doesn’t work for you, trying easing into the new BD pattern, IYKWIM?Lucky Mummy to 4 sweet divas (2013) (2015) (2018) (2021) and 1 sweet boy (2024) that completed our family

Hi all. This is our second ttc boy cycle. How is everyone doing?
I wanted to ask a quick question. How soon after stable smiley can you BD? Using the advanced Clearblue opk. Appreciate any input.
